The scene was fine -- possibly a realization for Arya that soldiers are just people doing the job they are hired to do and a reminder of the value of life. Adding Ed Sheeran to that was really tacky.

Another Ed Sheeran drama queen. A celebrity does a cameo in GoT and everyone slits their wrist. Remember when Lawrence Taylor and Frank Sinatra Jr. did cameos on the Sopranos?

Upon a rewatch, the scene with Arya and the young Lannister soldiers was phenomenal.

Kept thinking of this:

With attachments or without...?

would have a lot of Ned in him...but with a wiser wife who got him out of King's Landing and into a great old castle by the Wall just as a record summer was coming...I'm thinking she looks a bit like Rob's wife, but she attended the Citadel disguised as a boy and learned all their secrets...she's hooked up with your wife, a gypsy princess, and they sell dragonglass crystals at Minstrel shows where her husband, a pretty fair hand on the lute, sells potent herbal potions behind the tent between sets...

Ned was a good cat. He gets a bum rap for "losing" the GoT when in fact he consciously chose not to play. He put his honor first and never bent. I can respect that in much the same way I enjoy Littlefinger's ruthless ladder climb. Unlike Danny, those two knew what was important to them and acted accordingly at all times.

I thought you didn't respect stupidity though. Because putting your honor first is stupid .

Ned was a self-righteous jerk that had it coming. He rubbed Jamie's nose in his kingslaying every chance he got, and even mocked Jamie for "choosing his opponents wisely". He shows up at Kings Landing and promptly tells everyone what screwups they were, pissing everyone off. He was playing the game by getting his dying best friend to sign a note under false pretenses, and then, when handed the 7 Kingdoms by Renly, Ned says "no, I'm good", and walks into the Throne Room alone. He was even a jackass in flashbacks, showing up at the Tower of Joy and giving the two Kingsguard a lecture on duty rather than trying a "let's let bygones be bygones" approach.

Or maybe he was subconsciously suicidal after being married to that stupid harpy for 16 years.

You might as well just start cheering for Littlefinger to win the throne then. Why pull for the fair-weather men of honor when you you have a man of honest guile playing?

Jaime pushed a child out of a window. Do people forget that? It seems like they do, but the man deserved Ned's disdain. He is just a sister-f------ with a winning personality.

It'll come as no surprise that I'm a Tyrion/Bron guy. That's my team. I don't care who sits on that stupid uncomfortable a ss throne, as long as my guys are in the mix. And living properly.

I'm a Hound guy too. A proper misanthrope.

I'm just sad that Tormund is most likely going to die soon. I read somewhere recently that the show creators never intended the Tormund/Brienne subplot; that Tormund's original staredown of Brienne was ad-libbed. That makes it even more likely to me that the love story never gets fleshed put before one of them dies.

That scene has me worried that my glorious assassin is embarking on a newer, tamer character arc. If Arya mellows, Ima gonna feel cheated. I like her bloodthirsty revenge, and it is nice to finally see a Stark fight back with competence.

Maybe I took something else away from that scene. A girl, of slight build, willingly joins 6-7 soldiers, who would probably have things on their mind regarding her. She then tells them she's going to kill the queen that they work for and waits for a reaction. She knows she can take them one on seven if need be. They treat her well, so, she responds in kind. But if one of them so much as twitched at assaulting her, they'd all be dead.

Put a patch over his eye and then Yes, perfect.

I thought he was described as brash and pig faced in the books. If I am remembering it correctly, then the casting seems fine though the performance was a little too juvenile Eddie Haskel than a dangerous are captain. He came across daintier than Captain Morgan.

Somewhere the Sand Snakes are breathing easier.

Well there you have it. Melisandre and probably Davos at minimum know about Gendrys parentage.

Littlefinger also knows. Ned told a lot of people about Cersei and her kids. Robert was known to have many bastard. The idea that some survive won't shock anyone. The idea of a Bastard getting elevated to ruler of the seven kingdoms isn't going to gain much traction. Especially when the ruling house is dead and only held the thrones for a few decades.

No one is going to support a Gendry claim unless he is leading the rebellion. I would think any birthright claim at this point is bill and void without the army to back it up.

I'd go for "Tyrion's Angels". Tyrion calling the shots with Daeneris, Misandei and the youngest Sand Snake on the team.

We're on the same page as to that specific scene, but it could represent the beginning of a new evolution in Arya too. Right now Arya is a pitiless killer glorying in revenge. Recognizing her enemies' humanity is dangerous to that role.

Or that scene shows Arya's descent into full blown sociopath as she slaughters them anyway. We will find out soon enough.

Lets make that list. Ill start.

1. Sansa
2. Sansa
3.
4. Sansa
5.
6.
7. Sansa

You need to get over it. She's been dumb, but is mostly a victim of the two nastiest characters who have appeared on the show. Kill list

1. Ramsay
2. Joffrey
3. Cersei
4. Stannis (for sacrificing his daughter to the red god)
5. Melisandre (for talking him into it)
6. Viserys
7. Robert Baratheon (for screwing over Ned)

And it goes on a long time before we get to Sansa, who doesn't deserve death, but rather to become a fixture at Grateful Dead tribute band shows, where she snorts derisively and says "Jerry was so much better than you".

Im not in a tribute band. You lose. Fake news

Sansa deserves to die. At least twice. Not even in top 7 means you are fake news all the way around.

I just hope they copulate. And Brienne lives. Their spawn would be electric!
