I’m sure there are a handful of imbeciles out there pitching that narrative. It's not my narrative.

There were a couple times in the first half he missed some open guys and tried to force things. Just not a good game for him but I'm sure he bounce back. If Reed is on his game it really opens things for our shooters.I think Tarris' passing has actually been really good. He is seeing the floor much better from the post as soon as he gets the ball and finding the open man. His 2.3 assists for a center is good, but his passing out of the post from double teams has the defense scrambling and rotating and lead to open 3 pointers which Tarris won't necessarily get the assist for. I don't think he is a low basketball IQ player like a lot of people on the BoneYard are saying.
His biggest issue, IMO, is being in better floor position on defense, especially on the off ball screens and PnRs and avoiding bad fouls. His foul trouble fuu cc kks up the flow for his game and it's tougher for him to get into rhythm.
Any fanbase not called UConn. The Clingan factor has been swirled everywhere. He may have only played 13/game freshmen year, but those were difference making minutes. Let's just say if they bow out early, you'll see that one surface. Then whose is it?
Swain having a heck of a year too, many mocking into late first round. Good call on Lewis, doubt he sticks. That's a good question. I don't know Georgetown's NIL situation-that would be something for DFW Hoya to tell us about. KJ would have to carefully balance greener pastures ($$$) at a P5 (yes I am considering the Big East part of that for no other good reason because I love the Big East since the 1980s and I am just biased) and getting enough playing time at Georgetown where he can showcase his skills and play an important role. Remember, he transferred out of Arizona to Georgetown for a more prominent role and also because Tommy Lloyd couldn't fit KJ into his coaching system. If I was his advisor I would tell him transfer for the bigger bucks, but only if your playing time and role doesn't get diminished. I could see Texas being a threat, because like you said he is from El Paso, and Sean Miller is a former Big East coach that can use the fact he is a former Big East coach in explaining to KJ during the portal recruitment how playing at Texas will be better for him. Miller got Simeon Wilcher and Dailyn Swain over from St. John's and Xavier, respectively.
Yea. That's up there for the worst take in Boneyard history. Two NCs and one Husky of Honor award later...For mojo sake I'm hoping this post ages as well as this one:
I am stunned that someone built a team without a point guard and thought it would work. And that he thinks he can do it again next year.
If Seton Hall doesn’t lose KR in the first half, we’re 0-2 against Seton Hall this year - we can only score against them in spurts and when they start to pressure our offense, we simply fall apart. We had Sanogo out there at the end trying to run the offense.
That was just ugly.

The national media doesn't view Donovan Clingan as the second coming of Lou Alcindor. The narrative on this team won't be written until March. In this soft as porridge BE, I'm not sure how much many of us care other than the StJ rivalry and how it prepares us for the Dance.
The narrative Hurley will face is: can he win without Donovan Clingan? Can he win in March with a team that isn't that much more talented than other teams?
Right now, I'd say the hope is F4. It would be nice to get into the third weekend and that banner. I think if Hurley gets that far, it'll be considered an achievement. The expectation is the Elite 8.
Smith turned it over twice recently. Demary too.Different inbounders? Karaban is always the inbounder.
UConn is 24-2. Two losses are to the undefeated 1 team in the country and to a major conference rival on the road. We are a legitimate natty contender. Like have some humility and understand there are only about 8 teams in this spot.Okay, there’s still “time” to flip a switch, but what makes you think, 24 games in, that we have the ability to do so?!
And a Bob Cousy Award to bootYea. That's up there for the worst take in Boneyard history. Two NCs and one Husky of Honor award later...
His regression this year has been so disappointing. It's getting to the point where I sometimes forget Jaylin is on the team when I'm watching games. He has 2 points total his last three games and he's played a total of 26 minutes over the last three games.
We just played St John’s and they didn’t curb stomp us.
The fun thing is will get to see if there is any curb stomping between Arizona and Houston, Michigan and Duke and St John's and UConn.I think Michigan, Arizona, Duke, Houston, St John’s and Florida would all curb stomp us today.
Clingan has 3rd highest career BPM all time, Zach Edey 1 at around 14. Clingan was 15 his sophomore year and 11.5 his freshman year. He was easily the biggest difference maker on those two teams, even in those 13 minutes. The national media doesn't view Donovan Clingan as the second coming of Lou Alcindor.

You take him off the 24 team and stick Samson Johnson in there, you are talking a completely different team.
Everyone will pick this team as the first one or two seed to get upset in the tourney. They have regressed and the bench is so mid. This team can absolutely get upset in the tourney. We just can’t put teams away.
So that's awesome! That #1 team just lost 2 games in a row this past week.
Game. Set. MatchCalhoun called for more Reibe at halftime.
Yes….we will be throwing pebbles, they will be hoisting boulders. Dont comment if you didn’t watch it.I've seen plenty of games to know we have plenty of parts that simply need to all be great at same time. Not easy.
Tonight was date night, like always for 25 years. Missed the game.
Huskies won. If we play Michigan, the Wolverines will be in a rock fight.
NoI just can’t bring myself to be overly upset or concerned with a 24-2 team. Frustrated? Absolutely. But 24-2(14-1) is fun, no?
You clearly have not been watchingGive him a break. He had a bad game. This team is going no where without him so try to be a little more optimistic.
I think this is correctDon’t get me wrong I love Mullins and he has a beautiful shot but he can’t take over and dominate game the way Silas can. Had 12 boards tonight! Mullins handle just OK. He is going to sit on an NBA bench a lot or go to G league. What is his draft position? He needs strength. Have we seen him power to the basket when contested? 1 more year and he would have that strength and poise. Can he afford to do that? Probably not but I wish he would think about it.
Who cares if they do?? They have not proven anythingAnd with the incredible shrinking bench that our third year players of Ross and Stew are working off of, why in the world would they come back to come off the bench?

And how did that game end up???Michigan was down 16 to northwestern last game
Do we practice, or discuss, or understand how to inbound the ball?
Yeah but guys need to get open. This is not on Karaban.Karaban's and Ball's shooting, and Demary's steady hand won tie game.
Karaban's inbounding passes almost lost the game.
Reed mailed it in mentally all game.
Ross at least slowed down Lewis.
It's a win but my goodness this team is bad for my health.
Do we practice, or discuss, or understand how to inbound the ball?
And if someone else inbounded the ball all.of a sudden players would get openDemary making clutch FTs finally. Love the mental strength.
The bad game is on the staff. Defensive assignments (Solo on Lewis!?) were a mess. Inbounding clearly hasn't been worked on enough. AK needs to not inbound. Be a big hail mary target
Thank you. The players are not getting open so let's blame the guy taking the ball out of bounds. This is on the coaching staffCan’t blame it all on AK. This is on the coaches. It’s been going on almost every game, with different inbounders.
