I would think County would be the backup PG. It would be good to groom him in that role with Demary leaving the year after. Ball is not a PG in any sense even as a backup.
 
What's the going rate for a good PF in this day and age, generally? I have no concept of the dollars at play here (and I still have eligibility left!)

Just heard from a good source that the staff backed off the last few days because A) Alabama made a new offer which is driving up his price, and B) there is some real concern on the medical side that his previous foot injury could be chronic.

I think they would still be after him if not for the fact they feel the Duke kid is better suited for their system, is younger, and doesn't have a major injury history.

With the way injuries having been limiting UConn the last two years, I am fine with opting against taking a guy with his injury history.

It was fun dreaming about his upside, but the downside was potentially facing the possibility that UConn was going to have problems with lack of depth at the position.
 
It’s all for the better. If we should get Khamenia, he’ll be a better value with huge upside, and it provides more resources across the rest of the roster hopefully.

So annoyed the Locked on podcast keeps trying to compare Solo to Russell Westbrook...

Not as bad as the last host's nonsense but I was having trouble listening to that comparison.

What the??? This is quite the rumor to spread. If NK is doing this he went from the ultimate AK replacement to the ultimate Duke POS

That being said, I don't disagree with you that he needs to improve his ball handling and ability/initiative to drive into the lane.

I bet they are points of emphasis for his off-season work and he comes back improved.

I'm not Zanetto fan, but he's miles better than this new guy. Did this new guy compare Solo to Westbrook? RME.
