UK is not getting Freeman, or anyone significant. No one wants to play for Pope.

Really makes no sense whatsoever going on there. All points to Pope just being a very bad hire.

That kind of money is going to find takers. But yes, they were wise to take the scattershot approach.

Pope can't get anyone despite having ridiculous amounts of money available to him and it's one embarrassment after another. He's probably going to offer Freeman some absurd amount just to try and get someone in the fold. There's basically no chance Pope survives the season.
 
Is Stewart waiting to see who our portal 4 is before deciding on coming back? Is he hoping to start next year? If Freeman comes it will be hard for Stew to crack the starting lineup. I'd love to have Stew back as a bench player. Not sure he is ready to start.

I mean I hate saying this because I like both of our guys, but not good if we don’t have success in the portal and either he or Ross are starting. This is no different than last years and Diarra at PG. Just my honest opinion not that it means anything. I think we need a stud 3/4 guy to go along with Mullins/Landrew/Ross/Stew.

Stew really isn’t a PF. He hasn’t played at a consistent level at the SF spot. Handle/confidence seems to get in the way of
 
I think if Freeman’s injury is a big concern he’ll probably just take the best NIL offer.

He got most of his time at the PF spot. At 6/7. That’s probably where he will play next year as the primary back up. Some time at SF like he has. I’m not saying he doesn’t play those positions.
