Freeman possible visiting friday

Guess Autry didn't know the right buttons to push with Donnie. Don't see that as being an issue with Danny. Donnie has to put in the sweat equity in Storrs or it ain't gonna work out for him there.

Wasn't this basically Tarris Reed under Juwan Howard? That turned out OK.
Injury risk is way different. Missed half his freshman season and 1/3 of this season with foot injuries in a program that obviously doesn't go nearly as hard as we do. The best Syracuse looked by far this year were games he didn't play in the Vegas tournament. Never seemed bothered by losing.

Cuse board says he took a discount last year, which is nice. Getting an up close look at Autry's coaching and deciding to come back for a 2nd year, not so nice, but I do think he was very loyal to Autry and the assistant that recruited him.

It's hard to overstate how bad Autry is as a coach. Basically every player who transferred in was worse at Syracuse than their prior stop, and every player that transferred out improved a lot. I assume that's 99.9% of the reason we're interested.

Hopefully we'll have some good positional flexibility at the 4 next year because it's difficult to see him getting through a season and missing no time.

Latest rumor out of Kentucky is he did not come for his visit and rescheduled for after his UConn visit. Much like Hines, don't let him leave
His camp wants UConn. If they can make the money work, I think he is here.

He is kind of a risk with his injury history, and his reputation for not being a great defender/hard worker. But this kid can be a lottery pick if he plays up to his abilities, and the staff thinks he would thrive in our system.

.-.
Freeman seems to have a lot of talent but idk, I get the vibe he doesnt have the making of a UConn player mentally and drive wise. literally just based off vibes, not sure if thats even true

Playing under Autry is very diff than playing under Hurley. Who did play hard under that guy? I think if they staff think he has the goods, they'll squeeze it out of him. He has to want it too, especially if he wants to get to the NBA. May not be that different than Tarris. He played for a broken coach/system.

Freeman was the 13th ranked kid out of Flagg's class, which was really good. You don't want to waste that body/talent if you want to get to the league.

where are you getting these vibes? dude just said he wants hurley not money

They're calling him Mark Poop lmao
It's true entertainment going over there. I've seen posts saying he probably scares recruits off because he reads from the Book of Joseph.

Regarding Stokes, who doesn't feel like he's going there - that kid gives of a very weird aura. Looks potentially toxic, or might just be an animal in a good way. I've read some of both.

I think he will be vastly overrated in his one year.

For reference, 247 had Coleman 13th (composite 15th) and McNeeley 18th (composite 10th).

All I know about Stokes is that it wasn't his choice to leave Notre Dame in LA for Ranier Beach.

I listened to a basketball podcast the other day and the guy said other kids hate playing with Stokes. Pretty strange thing to hear someone say about a high school player.

Lot's of weird hand gestures, weird body language. Goodman went on the record saying he thinks he'd be an awful fit with Pope, needs a coach that can reign him in. Sent out some IG post in Lexington that had weirdness all over it - crazy eyes as i'd like to call them. Kid looks combustible, and raw. Talented for sure - but it feels like that isn't going to show for a few years.

He's a talented kid, although I wonder how much of that is just being able to bully kids at the high school level. I had heard that he beat up a couple kids at Notre Dame and they didn't want him back - he was suspended when he withdrew.

I will not stand for uncrustable slander. Those bad boys hit hard. I'm in my 30's and still take them to work for lunch.

They are filling, relatively low in calories and taste delicious.
Then in the summer freeze them and eat em frozen, or let them thaw a little first if u can wait that long

Total bully ball - it worked for Boozer, but he did it in more surgical way. He's not quite as big as Boozer, but more athletic. Doesn't strike me as nearly as smart.
