A 6'5" physical big like Dolson or a 6'4" 4/5 like Stewie would be just fine. UConn has always been at its best when its 4's and 5's run the court and are able to play multiple roles (pass, shoot, pick, etc.) in UConn's motion offense.

Height isn’t everything. Remember that 6-10 kid, Suzy Bendegue, that played for Georgetown?

Exactly.
I agree, height isn't everything.... but ..... "I have a dream"...

Updated the 2023 consensus rankings since HoopseenW has changed the rankings previously posted on ASGR

Are there any 6' 5'' or 6' 6" strong centers being considered by UConn and hotly pursued? Seems like we have a lot of Guards joining the Team and wondered if we are going to get some real height.

Not a lot of players that tall in general much less elite prospects.

UConn is recruiting 6'4 Adhel Tac for '24.

I think Kate Koval could be a good fit; she is solid at rebounding, blocks shots and has a good outside shot. UConn has interest in her, her team has a very high level schedule, they have played 10 games against teams ranked in the top 25 of ESPN, MaxPreps or Blue Star and 5 of the other 7 games were against top 10 states (NJ, MD, DC, PA). This is one of only two juniors left on the roster for the Naismith high school POY.

What is the prevailing thought on recruits knowing how depleted Connecticut is right now and does it have an impact on their decision-making? Is it a positive in that we are still doing so well with so few or did they just see the struggles Connecticut is having
