Favorite Songs From Artists No Longer Alive

Frank Zappa died in 1993 at the age of 53. He released over 60 albums before he died. I am a huge fan and have a lot of favorites but this one has some unbelievable guitar work on it. Released posthumously on FUNKY NOTHINGLESS.

It’s a bit long but worth the listen.

 
Personally, I think this thread should be limited to those who died before their time. I mean, do we really want to include Tony Bennett, or any of the Rat Pack?

Anyone remember Dan Hicks? This song in one of my favs from them due to a chick i was seeing once calling me 'moody richard'



Yes, I sure do- I remember it getting a decent amount of FM airplay, I think it was in 1972 or so.
 
Gary Moore played with Skid Row and was lead guitar for Thin Lizzy, he also had a solo career.
Over The Hills and Far Away.
The Chieftains help out on this one.
