Favorite Songs From Artists No Longer Alive

Paul Pena died in 2005 from complications of diabetes and pancreatitis at age 55.

Lou Reed died in 2013 from Liver disease, hepatitis, diabetes, at age 71.

Richard Farina died in his 20’s in a motorcycle accident on the way home from a party for the publication of his book. Mimi died of cancer in her 50’s. Taylor Hawkins was with the Foo Fighters for many years until he passed in 2022.
Everlong has some pretty ambitious drumming and Taylor gets some nice camera time in this live capture.

Frank Zappa died in 1993 at the age of 53. He released over 60 albums before he died. I am a huge fan and have a lot of favorites but this one has some unbelievable guitar work on it. Released posthumously on FUNKY NOTHINGLESS.

It’s a bit long but worth the listen.
