Fall Camp 2018 Coverage - #RiseAsOne

The kid from outside Toronto?

It’s a possibility - Terrence Ganyi changed his Twitter profile from “2019” to Class of “22” a bit ago but there hasn’t been a formal announcement of 2018 vs 2019 by the school yet. Classes start the 27th - we’ll find out soon enough I guess.

They played USF in the last home game last year. Just happened to be nice.

Last game, not last home game.

Huh? They played Cinci on the road the last game. Prior to that was BC at Fenway which might technically have been a home game but the scheduling had nothing to do with the league.

The last home game the league scheduled was USF.

Maybe waiting on admissions or NCAA Clearinghouse approval???

How about, hey commish, AD David Benedict here and I want to note 2 things as to scheduling

You may not appreciate this, but in our BE days, it was an annual tradition for UConn- USF to conclude the season playing each other. As the conf has almost zero traditions, could you please restart this one. And, Mike, why I have you and we are talking tradition, how many conf rivalries with a trophy at stake play Week 1? If we want to talk like we are P6, perhaps we should act like it. Just sayin'

The new newest teams. The BE was giving us shaft back then. Difference is both teams became competitive quickly. That is what led to those rainy, bone chilling games at the Rent and eventually, Taggart from 52.

It's like the opposing players are running in to him on purpose.
He's engaged and focused until the whistle. Good things happen when you have that focus. He's a smart, disciplined kid.

He's leading with his helmet and drew a couple of flags. The first one definitely would have been a disqualification. I like his aggressiveness. This team needs more bangers. The staff can coach him out of those helmet shots.

For sure, the staff will have to correct some issues and he’ll almost certainly be red shirted. But there’s definitely skill there to work with.
