Edsall stepping down immediately

Okay, change of plans then. Lou Spanos is coach rest of the season. Must have gotten ugly in DB's office the last 24 hours.

Anyone still think Edsall retired voluntarily?

Benedict has had a pattern of messy firings. Ollie...Diaco and now Edsall. We all know what happened with Ollie. And remember Diaco wasn't fired until January...after Benedict tried to force Diaco to take on a new OC.

I like Benedict....probably just circumstances...just seems odd.

Seems like randy kinda shot gunned retired before anyone could think and they took their time and made the right decision

He made UCONN football respectable the 1st go around and left it primed to continue and UCONN admin F it up. Now he comes back to help put it back together and it’s worst then before he built it up. Randy leaving at the end of the season or Randy leaving today are both the right move for the program.
