I was ready to file a formal petition with the league if we lost by one.

I'll go out on a limb and suggest UConn wins any game where Hawk and Newton combine for 22 FT attempts.

30-34 for the team.

Those are winning numbers.

For an imperfect and still growing team, this was a satisfying road win. Hawk will be an AA candidate next year. This road win could be the start of something (again).

We have done so much better at getting to the basket recently.

-Newton is attacking
-Hawkins is becoming consistent
-We’re getting Sanogo baskets in the flow of the offense

We’ve put together a 3 games of good habits (Xavier 2nd half). Will be interesting to see how we finish the season. Newton stepping up is HUGE.

We got into that second half tightness thing again for a few minutes and then snapped out of it. They have stretches where they can play so incredibly tight at times with leads. Newton and Hawk snapped them out of it.

There's the bones of a very good team in there.

Certain folks will say the double-bigs was the key to the game.

I liked that they got quite a bit of run with it. Some good, some bad came out of it. It’s clearly not “the answer”

Thought the iso with sanogo and Clingan was awesome and it led to sanogo having a ton more room to work. Hope to see more of that against Georgetown and then against Creighton for sure

Hope rotation is now tightening like tonight...need to get Newton & Hawk used to playing 32+ mins and Diarra / Joey will get spot 4 mins a half at most.
