This would be awesome for them, it’s definitely gonna wake up and move the needle with the “fan base”, I still think DePaul can be somewhat of a sleeping giant
SubtleDusty Baker is too old.
Well I think this puts the rumors in the grave. Can't imagine he would go out of his way to post this and then end up leaving.
Not really. If he doesn't post that tweet he's going to get that question every day until their season endsBig difference between being asked a question by the media and being forced to acknowledge the rumors vs. specifically going out of your way to address them on your own accord through a social media post. The OU fanbase will literally want the guy dead if he leaves now after making that post lol. He must have the worst optics in the world if he made this post and is still going to leave.
Personally I feel bad for Porter. If he turns that dumpster fire around he should be Coach of the year.I really can't think of a better coach that DePaul could have gotten within the realm of availability and possibility.

I think he's going to DePaul.Yeah either Oklahoma caved or the very subtle "I have spoken to NO ONE about any job!!". What about his agent?
DePaul can't "legally" (in NCAA rules) speak to HIM before his season is over anyways. Plenty of coaches have said something like this and then turned around and did the thing once they could (Lincoln Riley, Thad Matta to Ohio State, etc.)I think he's going to DePaul.
moser hasn't been fired or forced to retire at a power conference school yet.
once he does that, he becomes a prime candidate to step down a level to a CL school (mid major).
Not that I'm comparing them or even saying Moser will definitely be at DePaul, but I just think it's a pretty meaningless tweet. Calipari gave this interview 2 weeks before he went to Kentucky

Don't worry bud. Next Sunday your bracket reveal isn't at 6 PM like the real programs are. Wait a couple more hours on ESPNU for your guys' reveal to see if the mighty bearcats of Cincinnati got a 4 or 5 seed in the rejects tournamentmoser hasn't been fired or forced to retire at a power conference school yet.

Porter’s people leaked it. That’s the only scenario that makes sense.Question is who leaked info and for what reason? I remember when Lynch was hired as SF GM, it came as a shock to people since there were no leaks...Lynch later said that was test of the organization to see if they could be trusted.
So, did Porter leak something to get Ok to move on things they were dragging their feet on? People get work concessions once their employer knows they have another offer. Or, did DePaul do it out of exuberance...not realizing they could screw it all up by leaking? Seems like the former is more likely to me.
Please help me ……trying to find the game between the 14th vs 11th place teams in big 12, not able to… can you tell me who is winning?moser hasn't been fired or forced to retire at a power conference school yet.

so does the Silver Bulletin's page, FWIWHis Wikipedia page already has him as DePaul's HC at a salary of $3.08 million.
They need to keep the interim guy. DePaul took Villanova to the wire. Their kids played hard.Someone can change this thread title or start a new one. Holtmann has proven he can coach in the BEast but DePaul is a tall task. They’re going to need him to develop talent, and fast. Nobody in the portal is going to want to go there.
