Should've emailed the coaches. They could've used your input.I said we’re not that good after last week and some asshats doubted me. FCS defense at best.

our offense is alright, good enough to get us enough points to have a chance every week. That would have been enough, under one critical assumption:
to have any chance at a season, we needed to play our faces off on Defense, as we did in '24. It is now glaringly obvious that Defensively, we are a shadow of our past 2 years. with the loss of jalani, pryce, jackson, Jayden mcdonald, and others, we are back to a 2021-and-prior level of Defensive talent. And in the era of NIL, that is disappointing to see. Brock showed what he can do when he's got dawgs in his pound. this year he's got nothing to work with. That's on Jim Mora and the recruiting staff. They utterly FAILED FAILED FAILED to re-tool this defense.
Given that reality, I must put us at 5-6 wins tops this year. Jim Mora deserves some grace, but this AD has to make some tough decisions this summer about whether they want to spend the money necessary to build a P4 team.
That's it right there. I never got excited on that when the 3rd and 18 resulted in a 4th and 9 because knowing UConn Football the last 10+ years I said to myself "I wouldn't be surprised if Delaware converts this 4th down somehow someway" and they did. (shoulder shrug).Who cares. The pass was short. All he had to do was tackle him and it was over. That was not good situational awareness.
Have to do a buy one get 3 free deal. Or else there won’t be many there to watchYou weren’t gonna buy tickets to begin with.
No confidence in the defenseI hope someone asks in the post-game why you don't take the points and go up 6. It'll be a hogwash answer, but at least it'll have been asked.
Convert on 4th down? Then don't throw into flat to statue TE, that can't gain a step for the close out first down. Throw to someone more athletic or smart enough to know where the first down marker is.I saw two teams, one poised and one playing tentatively. I was in K section on the 50, what a God forsaken joke. If we had converted on 4th and short late in the 4th in the red zone, game over and we win. Instead, what dejected drive home.
I hope someone asks in the post-game why you don't take the points and go up 6. It'll be a hogwash answer, but at least it'll have been asked.
Ya we were stopping them alright and the fg was near 50 on the road makeable but not automatic. I’m sure if they scored a td and won by 1 we wouldn’t all be killing Mora for it.I hope someone asks in the post-game why you don't take the points and go up 6. It'll be a hogwash answer, but at least it'll have been asked.

Some of our dline look like they've never actually played football before? Just look at their stances on some plays. They look like eight year olds. Crappy stance and then they just stand straight up and don't move anywhere. There were multiple times that a DL got blocked by a lineman and then the OL ALSO blocked the blitzing linebacker at the same timeIt just looks like Brock is throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks with the blitz packages. It's basically gambling.
The players make terrible decisions, have no discipline and no awareness.
They killed Uconn in the trenches. Pushed Uconn around on both sides of the ball. They converted every big short yardage run play & Uconn coulldnt.Running Game?
2nd game in a row they couldn’t get a first down to seal the game.
Exactly and if you were running the clock down and not snapping the ball so early they would have had very little time left down 6I hope someone asks in the post-game why you don't take the points and go up 6. It'll be a hogwash answer, but at least it'll have been asked.
huh? They just lost to Delaware. We have coordinators who have been exposed as completely out of their depth and have single handily cost us 2 games in nut time.
And your worried about P4.
I think we will beat Ball StateIs that worth more to you than UConn winning? Just wondering.
I could say the same to you. The defense was the biggest culprit, but you should face facts and realize Fagnano misses too many easy throws when they matter. In 2 crucial situations he threw behind the TE, although on the 2nd one Honig/Hansen still should've caught it.If you're blaming the QB in this debacle then you should watch another sport.
If they needed a TD they probably would have just scored a TD anyway. It's like we were just gonna let them do whatever they needed to winI hope someone asks in the post-game why you don't take the points and go up 6. It'll be a hogwash answer, but at least it'll have been asked.
I suspect it has something to do with them being accused of being too conservative last week against Syracuse.I hope someone asks in the post-game why you don't take the points and go up 6. It'll be a hogwash answer, but at least it'll have been asked.
huh?
the goal is to build a P4-caliber team, to get us P4-level W/L results, and thus to get us to the P4.
yes, I'm worried about the P4, for the future of UConn athletics.
w/ regard to the coordinators, agree on offense, disagree on Defense. Brock is good; We need a real offensive mind over there who can be creative in a sustainable way (ie. not just doing trick plays to feign creativity). Sammis got his shot, I was fine with that. everybody deserves a shot. This isn't working, IMO. Hope I'm wrong and he draws up some better stuff.
Hey whatever it takes get it done. I’m just responding to a troll, if you don’t wanna go to a game then don’t, don’t need to announce it, you don’t need permission to not go.Have to do a buy one get 3 free deal. Or else there won’t be many there to watch
