Damn. Still sucks in the moment.RIP my snowblower drive belt. At least it wasn’t the auger belt.

This is probably what happened to mine. How did you confirm that? I can't push it into the snow so the auger is useless without drive.RIP my snowblower drive belt. At least it wasn’t the auger belt.

Never heard of that. BrilliantI’ve done a rubber paddle modification on three or four snowblowers (google it, they sell kits and there are hundreds of links). It scrapes the snow off of the inside of your barrel and throws it much better. Especially on my older Ariens, the improvement was amazing. My blower mows thru heavy wet snow like the 23/24 Huskies.
I wouldn't say this is just another snowstorm. It's probably the worst since 1978. Dumping 36" now in some places.
Auger still works and throws snow. Drive doesn’t. My driveway is flat though so I can still just push manually. It just sucks a little more. This is probably what happened to mine. How did you confirm that? I can't push it into the snow so the auger is useless without drive.
Yep... but it totally depends where you live. For me in the Farmington valley this isn't even top three of the past decade.I wouldn't say this is just another snowstorm. It's probably the worst since 1978. Dumping 36" now in some places.
I have a hilly driveway, but downhill from my garage. Snow is deeper than the snowblower is high and I can't push it into the snow at all. It's hard to push even in the garage.Auger still works and throws snow. Drive doesn’t. My driveway is flat though so I can still just push manually. It just sucks a little more.
2013 storm dropped 40” of snow on CT.Yep... but it totally depends where you live. For me in the Farmington valley this isn't even top three of the past decade.
I would take that light fluffy powder any day over this.Just came in. 10-11 inches tops and not too heavy for the snowblower. This storm wasn't bad at all. The one a few weeks ago was much worse.
How far back from the car in front of you should you be not to be tailgating?First thing they said on the news was to make sure you clear your car roof of any snow. They didn’t mention don’t tailgate, which is common sense.
Just watched that video... now I need to find someone to do the work.
