Death Storm 2.0

It's more like my single stage snow blower can only handle 8" max (that's what she said) and i'm gonna have to split up this storm into 2 or 3 passes.
Blizzard rules. Go out anytime to wish to keep ahead of it. Not like anyone has anywhere to go.

Yep. If you wake anyone up they literally have all day at home to take a nap.

.-.
Snowblower will not be effective.

12" minimum of wet heavy snow expected here.

Just want you to know, I always liked most of you. I expect to die of a coronary while shoveling.

So, I'm drinking heavily from now through Sunday.
Why, heavy wet snow is what snowblowers are made for….unless y bought an electric one

DoorDash knows what's coming.

I used my electric snowblower to get out of 4 feet of snow 2 years ago Christmas. Just be patient... it will dig you out!

What's the neighbor code of conduct at snow blowing at 4 or 5 in the morning. Frowned upon?
Most town ordinances specifically exempts snow removal equipment meaning noise from things like snowblowers isn’t counted as a violation even during nighttime hours, because clearing snow is considered essential and not a nuisance under most town codes.

I've been going out with the snowblower 3 to 4 times including at 2 or 3am on major snowstorms for year's, never a complaint.
It's a pain in the arse at the time, but what a great feeling when the storm is over and you just get up and go with the car.

I'm usually a shoveler, but after the first storm, I've hired someone for Monday morning.

The snow on its own was fine, but our driveway goes downhill and we live on the bottom of a hill with a three-way stop, so we get a ton of run-off from the plows. No me gusta two feet of icy pushed plow stuff. It's a great set-up to avoid flooding after big rains, but a PITA after snow.

The weird thing about how much snow we've gotten and how much snow we're going to get...I picked up my seasonal allergies meds today, lol.

Well, I was going to spray the weed killer today and do a bit of outdoor work.
But, I broke a sweat while using the flattop grill during lunch, so I said screw and decided indoors in the AC and day drinking was the better option.
Ha. I sprayed weeds this morning. I was sweating my balls off. Hit like 78 today. As you probably know, this has been the coldest winter in Florida since 2010. I’ve loved it.

I’m glad CT is getting a real winter for a change though. All these mild winters make me nervous.

This one’s gonna leave serious damage in its wake, from the Jersey Shore all the way up to Gloucester. Some of the models in the last hour have two feet+ coming down in lower Fairfield County, with coastal flooding and 60mph winds. Not just blizzard of ‘78 vibes, but the exact same setup.

Hey, I’m in Florida too and there’s a big cold front coming, the weather guys are going crazy telling us to get out the winter clothes. They are predicting daytime highs might not reach 60 and there could be fog.

Yeah. They were saying this morning it’s probably th last cold front we see with temps below 40 for this winter in the southern half of the state.

Well, I fricking LOVE winter. I’ve skiid every week so far, back country twice, and I’m heading to Utah this weekend for more. Can’t wait. This has been the best winter in in decades. The only drag was the last week of warm weather that caused all the mud. I do hate mud season.

We rode out that last death storm at Mohegan Sun and came home to a sunny day and a plowed driveway. We're going to tough this one out.

Honda snowblowers don’t care if it’s dry or wet.
Yup. Had a Honda track drive 2 stage. Never met a storm it couldn’t handle. Ended up selling it 10 years later for almost what I paid for it to a pro. Said it’s the only machines he uses
