Where are you hiding this stash ?????
Where are you hiding this stash ?????
Hey, you got rid of her, you don't need to openly campaign for her to get every vacant HC position anymore.
Can someone decipher what this means? Not sure what to make of it.
I wonder where?? Virginia might have been a spot but that’s filled. I’m assuming Wycoff will take over at FSU. TAMU? She is from New York.Hmm. First part is garbled but the last part seems to imply there are rumors of KBA moving on?
I hope GG gets a shot somewhere. I really think Brooke Wycoff will be the next FSU coach. She did a phenomenal job for them in her interim role including a trip to the NCAA.GG for FSU? She's going to get another job soon, just a matter of time.

I hope these rumors are that CVS is retiring and Kim is taking over.Hmm. First part is garbled but the last part seems to imply there are rumors of KBA moving on?
I mean we are all just spitballing here, but what about Arizona State? Lots of northerners end up there. Of course ASU is a notorious cheapskate on its women’s sports and may not want to pay that much.I wonder where?? Virginia might have been a spot but that’s filled. Gotta save money in the budget to fund the Curtain of Distraction.Of course ASU is a notorious cheapskate on its women’s sports
That’s a good one. I believe her husband might still be in New Jersey so that might make sense.I hope these rumors are that CVS is retiring and Kim is taking over.
With her roots in both Long Island and northern NJ, I could see her interested in possibly retuning to the area. Rutgers really needs to get out of neutral and take steps beyond the "will she or won't she C. Viv" tenure.I hope these rumors are that CVS is retiring and Kim is taking over.
- SEC Texas AM (retired)
SEC Florida (interim coach)- SEC Miss St (interim coach)FILLED
- ACC Virginia (fired)FILLED
- ACC Syracuse (interim coach)
- PAC Arizona St (retired)
- BiG Illinois (retired) FILLED
- B12 Okl St (resigned/fired)FILLED
Doesn't CVS actually have to retire first? With her roots in both Long Island and northern NJ, I could see her interested in possibly retuning to the area. Rutgers really needs to get out of neutral and take steps beyond the "will she or won't she C. Viv" tenure.
Arico still has deep ties in the area, which would be a gold mine for recruiting and she'd still get to coach in the B1G. And Michigan could interview everyone from GG to Megan Duffy (who was a chief assistant to KBA at St.John's and Michigan).
Now how would this affect Stringer's extension from last year? That would be a fairly significant buy out wouldn't it? I remember seeing an article where the Athletics Department was in a significant hole. As much as it could make sense, can Rutgers even afford to do so?With her roots in both Long Island and northern NJ, I could see her interested in possibly retuning to the area. Is it just me, or are there an unusually high number of retirements and “new directions” after long-time coaches compared to an average year? Kind of feels like a lot of cans got kicked down the road during COVID and are now fully rusted over.

Personally, I would hope Arico stays in Michigan. She's rebuilt that program and I don't know if they'd be able to maintain that momentum if she left. Don't know who would be a good fit to take it over and keep it going in the direction they're in.
The idea of KBA going somewhere else has been bandied about on Twitter since the start of the tournament. I think it started when the coach of ASU announced her retirement. One of her former assistants left for ASU so I could see how people think there could be a connection.I was initially reacting to the twitter that said to expect a surprise announcement, but you're right: Rutgers AD gave her a 5-year extension through the 25-26 season. Yikes. And since then, we've mainly seen Tim Eatman on the sidelines. Will C. Viv -- in her mid-70's -- come back after these last few seasons? On one hand, I can see how Rutgers couldn't afford to write this off, but can the program weather the uncertainty of who's in charge?
As for Michigan, who knows if Barnes-Arico will stay in Ann Arbor or is missing the congested areas I, too, have also called home for most of my years? The logical successor is she did bolt home: (here we go again) Megan Duffy, who helped KBA build up the program before leaving for Miami (Ohio) and Marquette. Duffy is from the Dayton area, and knows Ohio, Indiana and all those other places that Michigan recruits.
Stay tuned.
I thought I saw it in relation to the Texas A&M position. Honestly, this is an Island Girl/Jersey Woman who took a post in Ann Arbor and commutes back east a lot to see friends and family. Arizona State? College Station? Nothing against them, but that's expanding KBA's world in directions that I wonder. I mean, it's not as if U of M doesn't have resources and she'd been in totally new recruiting areas. Well, if Bobby Hurley can do it.......and he's from Jersey City (go St. Peters!). If it happens, it does, but I'll bet a six pack of Ballantine and some old MTA subway tokens she only comes east! I'm biased as I wouldn't want to see her leave after seeing what she has built. I started to pay more attention to Michigan when she recruited Hailey Brown out of Hamilton, Ontario. Then I learned about Hillmon and became a fan because of how she developed and her playing style.
If it happens it happens.
1) Sorry, I need this translated into Canadian beverage terms. If this is a beer, I need some measure of comparison to see if it's worth making a bet If it's like a Samuel Adams, or Miller............I'll pass.
