Pitt?
Arizona State is a decent place to coach. PAC 12 is solid conference. Whoever gets that coaching gig, given the right amount of time, is in a decent spot. Expectations are realistic from the fan base and AD.
Syracuse. Love everything about that program. I hope they get the right hire for that gig. Like any other program, Syracuse has some workable players. They are going through a lot right now dealing with the whole Q situation. But in a few years, if they get the right coaching hire down, this program could be making some noise again on the basketball court.
Texas A&M is going to be really interesting. Hopefully the fan base and the athletic department are patient in their search for a coach and patience when they hire the coach. Coach did a fantastic job with that A&M program. Heck, at each school (Stephen F Austin & Arkansas) he did a great job. But at Texas A&M was where his legacy was cemented. That program was dead last and he performed a miracle with that program. In three years, he had that program on the grand stage loudly. Causing all kinds of problems. And of course, seven or eight years later, NCAA Champs. That is going to be a great program as long as folks are patient. This year they looked like they were just going through the motions out there. Effort was so-so. But whoever gets that job, they will have to ignite that fire again.
The rest of the list, solid programs, that will need some work. Just have to get the right coach. Like Coach Blair said years ago, it has to be the right fit for the right coach.
