Am I crazy to think what this guy could bring as sort of a more inside the arc 4 man, with the dynamism on offense and the defensive metrics that he brings.
Well, starter minutes v 3rd man up sounds like everyone has a better shot than UConn nowNot sure how involved we are, but GTown board thinks he’s theirs for the taking. Potential starter vs reserve.
Darius Adams boomerang back? The backup PG role is up for grabsI thought Machot was better than Reeves, with higher upside and would do better in our system. Field of 68 has Machot ranked 10 spots higher than him and Giltay isn't on the list.

Yes. He’s visiting teams to be the starting five. He’s not coming here to be a backup and make no $$.Am I crazy to think what this guy could bring as sort of a more inside the arc 4 man, with the dynamism on offense and the defensive metrics that he brings.
None of the three bigs you mentioned could ever play the 4 in our system… and therein lies one of the biggest mental hurdles the boneyard has ever had to overcomeIt's just a prediction, but there might be something there.
I still want him. He brings a different dimension to the 4 & 5 from what Giltay and Hines bring. But with the addition of OG, not sure if we have or want to spend the NIL to get him, plus he might not like the PT opportunity with who we have that can give us minutes at those positions.
With UConn's reps for developing Bigs, you'd think we'd still be in play, but the money UConn has to offer and other programs might be offering just might have put him out of reach if there still interest. And adding him might not go all too well with the players we now have for the 4 & 5.
I think there's enough minutes to share based on how often our bigs pick up fouls, though I'm sure that he, OG, Hines, Khamenia, Ross, and Landrew, all who have the capability to share some minutes at either or both positions want as many minutes as possible.
In the age of NBA Positionless-basketball, knowing your 1-5 is tougherNone of the three bigs you mentioned could ever play the 4 in our system… and therein lies one of the biggest mental hurdles the boneyard has ever had to overcome
I think they could play any combo of 2 of OG, Hines and Chol at the same time depending the matchup, especially Chol who can attack off the dribble. Did you see Chol's handle?None of the three bigs you mentioned could ever play the 4 in our system… and therein lies one of the biggest mental hurdles the boneyard has ever had to overcome
What a waste for this kid. See you in the portal next year. Work on your jump shot.
Chol chose Georgetown because they can and are willing to offer more money than others at the moment. Not sure why anyone would willingly play for Cooley.
Y know whyNot sure why anyone would willingly play for Cooley.
I know... He should've come here to play significantly less AND make less money. What a fool.
Let's be glad the Big East got better. He wasn't coming here.Chol chose Georgetonw because they can and are willing to offer more money than others at the moment.
Whatever. I hope it works out for the kid. Save the money and don’t unpack your bags.I know... He should've come here to play significantly less AND make less money. What a fool.
That’s right! Just not a UConn kid! Not willing to sacrifice immediate earnings and get little time. This was probably BrEeDiNgs plan all along! He should be paying US to enjoy the PRIVILEGE of getting to play for and LEARN from the BEST COACH IN AMERICA in the BASKETBALL CAPITAL OF THE WORLD.
