I'm not sure what we really think we need at backup C to win a NC but we just almost won the Championship with Reibe's last 4 tourney games giving us a total of 24 Minutes, 5 fouls 2 points and 2 Boards. That's only 2 boards and 2 points more than any random boneyarder could provide.

I think my question is more why you brought the Stanford kid into a thread and conversation about Chol Machot when doing so added absolutely nothing of value.

Look at what Reibe did during the season to get us a #2 seed in the NCAA tournament. We all could see he quietly quit at the end of the season and Tarris was the best big man in the country at the end of the season.

Reed was incredible No argument there. Reibe was equally unimpressive for whatever reason. I would assume we are hoping for somewhere between a Josh Carlton-Amida Brimah level backup C.

And Oskar Giltay was averaging under 12 minutes per game with 2 pts and 2 rebs at the end of last season for a team that loat first round in The Crown.

No idea where you're seeing that. It's easy to search Manute Bol's sons. They share his last name.

I'm apparently not very observant. I googled "Chol Machot parents" and got a blurb for a clearly incorrect Facebook page that has him born the son of Manute Bol in 1999. So, yeah. Not correct.
