Folks, we are only going to get very limited number of All Americans, no matter how good we are. For example this year, absent injuries, AA locks are Clark, Boston, Morrow and take your pick from Stanford. That doesn't even get to the likely 2nd team AA's such as Siegrist (sp?).
If we get one, I think we know who that would be. If we get a 2nd and or 3rd team AA then Liya or Lou would come before Caroline and If things continue the way they are, then Nika would be a strong candidate for 3rd team. Next year won't be any easier, with our AA candidate line being led by Paige, Azzi, Liya, Nika. Caroline's strength on the court is scoring and next year I would say that our top two scorers will be PB and Azzi Fudd.
This is in NO WAY meant to downgrade Caroline, but rather to recognize the real world of AA selections. There are only a limited number of AA spots and the good ole days when UCONN absolutely dominated the sport are long gone. Agreeing that Caroline is (or can be) an outstanding player just not an All American is hardly a knock on her-none of the other 99.99% of WCBB D-1 players will be AA's this year or next year either
