I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Probably, "meh."

I hope he can maintain an advisory role and an office here. He's been hot on the recruiting trail!

I hear a guy named Chuck Taylor has been snooping around with a prototype of a canvas hi-top sneaker. Comes in white and black. I hope JC fully vets the guy.

Considering Jim Calhoun Jr. was the CEO of Converse until last year I'm pretty sure Jim Calhoun Sr. knows everything there is to know about Chuck Taylor and the brand.

Good for them. At that age, working with friends and positively impacting young kids' lives - what could be better?

Rumor has it he's going to flip them from Adidas to Nike as his first move.

....Hope UConn will decrease the amount of money they pay him to be an "advisor" if he'll be spending so much time at St. Joseph's.

I have mixed feeling about this, but they're due to my own selfishness of not wanting JC to be associated with another program.

Oddly enough there was a Chuck Taylor who played for UCONN as a walk in from New Canaan I’m going to guess somewhere between the years of 83-86. I can’t really remember.

I like this better than him working for ESPN.

And his legacy with us is already cemented.

From Rothstein:

"He will remain as an ambassador for UConn during the upcoming year."

Maybe that'll help.
