UNC hiring Belichick reminds me of when the White Sox hired Tony LaRussa. Except it seems UNC won't be able to enjoy being good for a year like the ChiSox did in TLR's first season.

It is totally possible/ probable.that thr O line and.other pieces do the most to make a QB into a winner.

Example: Doug Williams.

Redskins superbowl.winning QB. Joe Gibbs waived him in the office season. And absolutely no other team in the NFL picked him up.

harder to justify in the portal era, plus Mack Brown didn't exactly leave the program in the gutter. They were on a treadmill and needed more juice in his 2nd act, but they weren't putrid.

If I wasn’t happily married, and I had a 24 year old girlfriend like that, I would take her everywhere, and parade her around as much as I could. Football game sideline, movies, Stop & Shop, Home Depot, TJ Maxx, the town dump…..everywhere.

Too brag you're getting played by a 24 year old. It's such a desperate look. This made the once great BB look like a total clown.

You think she's going to HD and Stop & Shop???? She's with you for what your money can access not what you currently do with your wife.

Boy do we have 100% diff philosophies on this one. If you decide to pursue and crave the public eye, all is fair game. She’s an adult.
 
It's just funny to see teams spend millions and millions on coaches, staff members and NIL only to fall flat on their face. Money is good but it's no short cut to building a culture, our basketball programs culture speaks for itself obviously but we're also seeing it with Jim Mora.

I know you gotta give Belichick more time but he's in his 70s, how do you pick Bob Diaco and Freddie Kitchens on your staff, two loser coaches.

There is a universal man law for this, with the ability to round down. It's half your age plus 7. In Beli's case, his floor would have been 29 (73/2 = 36.5 - 7 = 29). He's officially creepworthy.

I thought it was half your age plus 7? So 73/2 = 36.5 + 7 = 43.5. So 43. She's almost 20 years younger than that. I couldn't care less though.
 
Skip might actually think LT and Jordan are still playing at Carolina.

You're right, I was just trying to help Beli. 43 is it, which seems a lot more appropriate.
 
BB needed to not have a complete disaster last night and he had a complete disaster.

He's gotta do some winning right quick.

He needs to get all of his coaches in a room, ask Bob Diaco specifically what he would do next and then do the complete opposite.

Any school that brings in 70 new players and hires an OC with no OC experience will struggle and UNC did. The offensive game plan looked vanilla and UNC couldn't really move the ball after the first drive. When Bill B was hired by UNC, most of the best portal players were close to gone or gone and, supposedly, this past Spring's portal group was not very good. What's crazy is that UNC has 36 HS recruits for next season and I don't see how true freshman are going to help turn things around.

The UNC qb was pretty terrible, small lefty peashooter with no feel for game. TCU may have been +900 but they have some talent in key areas. Their QB could really spin in, nice RB and a couple really nice targets.

The first series both offensively and defensively looked amazing, and then it was all downhill.

Their QB was widely acknowledged as a good get. Yeah he looked terrible. He is a spread offense running QB in the mold of a Diego Paivia from Vandy. UNC is trying to make him into an under center game manager. I don’t know what the hell their coaches are thinking. It doesn’t help when the QB coach is an even more egregious nepotism-hire (Michael Lombardi’s son.)

I'm sure it's accurate but it isn't funny.

TCU is just two touchdowns and a two point conversion away from covering Belichick's age gap.

Jordon Hudson left at halftime because it's a school night.

There's a whole bunch of easy jokes to make about the age gap, making them much closer in age ain't it.
