If Marquette takes care of business in the OOC, I wouldn't care if they went 5-15 in the Big East. Just need everyone to do the business OOC.

The Illinois point guard reminded me of a former UConn guard. I wonder who?

Watching Providence/Wisconsin right now. I totally forgot that former conference foe Chris Vogt transferred to Wisconsin.

Nate Watson is CARRYING Providence right now. Has 10 of their first 15 points about 12 minutes into the game.

Christmas wish list for Illini - a competent point guard
Marquette had no right winning that game but don't look a gift horse in the mouth

32-23 Providence!

Now, lets be honest. Who here was closely watching AAC OOC games when Uconn was there? This is the difference. We care about these games now. These games excite us. The AAC wasn't interesting enough to follow OOC. So glad UConn is back in the Big East.

BE pride. The only person that ever had aac pride was Aresco

Big East might be a bit better than we thought..
It's the 9th best B1G team and a team playing without their pre-season 1st team All-American. Still nice wins for conference metrics, especially since the weaker win was on the road..

Providence looked pretty terrible down the stretch, both from coaching and execution standpoint.

Providence got an offensive rebound a bit ago and the shot clock went 30, 20, 19, 18...etc down to 2 then a long 3. What was that?

Good god the free throw shooting is awful here too…

I couldn't believe the matchups when I saw them. I don't care about the reasons. Not including your 2 best teams is absurd. And the teams that may have had a chance at a big win got road games (Seton Hall).

Bad move by the league. Especially considering our weak schedule. Could have been a showcase for our guys. They seem ready. Let's hope we get lucky and maybe a split tonight but odds are low.

Respect the league!

We are 2-0!
