Meanwhile Georgetown rolls to 5-0 with their small forward Isiah Abraham getting the start: 23 min, 12 pts, 4-5 FG, 2-2 3PT, 2-2 FT, 5 Reb, 1 steal, 0 TO, 1 foul.

I know they played Wagner but for a kid we had that left to find playing time, he would be head and shoulders above Jacob Ross in the depth chart, Jayden Ross like numbers without the Jayden Ross like fouls.

I think he’ll be better than both Ross and Stewart.

Being ahead of Jacob Ross means he still isn't really playing this year, that's where Furphy is. He made the right decision for him in all likelihood.
 
Looks like Marquette is going to pull it out against Central Michigan. Up 7 with 3 minutes left

Not at all so far. Got run out of the gym against Indiana. Lost to Maryland and Dayton. They've won their buy games but haven't looked good against real competition

They stink - Marquette fans are already out on this team, asking Shaka to play freshmen to get them ready for next year. I knew they were descending given output of talent with nothing incoming, but didn't think they'd be this bad this fast. With Ross leaving, let's not see if Shaka tries the portal. If he doesn't, it will be a true showcase of stubborness, HW611 style.

Yeah Big East looks very shaky outside UConn, and St John. Next possible tournament team is probably Georgetown. After that it is down into an abyss.

I guess Nova has played pretty decent. It's a patchwork roster, so not sure how it fares long term. We're looking at 4 bids max if all falls right.

I’m a little surprised that even after 4 years in college CFjr isn’t a full time starter. Corey was very young when he enrolled at UConn but I thought he’d develop into an impactful player

If all falls right, Creighton does enough, Villanova surprises some people, and GTown continues to win. We get 5 in.

McDermott had other slow starts and then worked his magic but I just have so much trouble seeing it this season. It was going to be really tough to begin with but losing Jackson McAndrew for the season is just a killer for them.

I agree. Providence should have coasted to a 6-0 record at this point, with every win by 20+ and the second half just garbage time. English has really blown this season, and even if he turns it around, he is still dragging around two losses that are not going to age well.
