Big East OOC 2.0

46-20 (8-14).

Nova, DePaul, and Xavier all lose.

Nova may not be a tourney team.
If Whitemore plays soon and they play well and finish top 4 in Big East, they'll get an injury credit.

How many OOC top 20 wins will BE get this year? And they may only have two teams in the top 20 in conference. Gonna be tough to get more than 3 bids?

47-22 (9-16).

UConn wins; Seton Hall and Butler lose.

Bad day for the league.

50-22 (9-16).

St. John's, Georgetown, and Providence all take care of business.

.-.
So…three of Oregon’s starters are out today and a total of six scholarship players are healthy. Walk-on Gabe Reichel started.

Couldn’t be any clearer that this is a must-win for Nova, but Nova down 23-13 with 9 to go in the 1st.

Are Nova fans turning on their coach yet?

They are learning what every fan base learns after a massively successful college basketball coach leaves. By the time of change it's more about the coach than the name on front of the jersey or the names on the back of the jerseys.

Hoping that Duke is not immune to that transition too.

Torn between wanting Oregon to win so that W looks better and hope Nova turns it around in conference play, and wanting Nova and the BE to win today..

Neptune looks helpless as HC. Villanova can't let him burn too much time "learning on the job" before making a move.

Oregon takes it over Nova 74-67. Will Richardson took over late - within the last 2 minutes he had a free throw to go up 1, a layup to go up 3, and a jumper to go up 5 on back-to-back-to-back possessions

Announcer said that Oregon played this game with just SIX scholarship players

Villanova drops to 0-3 at PK85 to take 8th place, and 2-5 overall.

Neptune is doing his best Ollie impression. 2-5…I know he is down his two best players but even against cupcakes nova as looked shaky at best and overwhelmed at worst

51-23 (9-17).

Nova loses to Oregon.

Nova is responsible for more than 20% of the league's losses but only 4% of the league's wins.

Sucks but not surprising with new coach and injuries. They’ve held the conf up over the last decade though so they get some patience in terms of impact on conference metrics.

Sometimes (cough … Syracuse … cough) they find out before the coach leaves.:D

Ollie won a natty before driving the program into the mud, Neptune is doing this with an inherited Final Four side. Impressive, really.

Neptune is over is head and must be in the depths of depression.

No love for Cuse but they lose early many years and still make the tourney. Maybe Nova comes back it's November.

I always look for bad losses early in the season. Villanova has 2 and Georgetown has 2 or 3 (Northwestern). That's basically it for the conference.

I guess. But the conference is incredibly top heavy so far. Creighton and UConn are solidly top 12 teams. Everyone else maybe outside of Xavier are…meh
