If Creighton gets this TO, it's one of the most heads-up plays I've ever seen.

Donny had zero idea of where Creighton was inbounding. That really sucks if Nova loses this, you shouldn't be allowed to call those kind of timeouts

The Bombas CEO with a clutch glass three pointer from the corner.

Ashworth with the bank for the 3 . Wow. I didn't know you can bank a shot from that angle.

That is as a crock of BS

Don't you need possession of the ball to call a TO?
I believe the rule is that if you don't have possession and call the timeout it's a jump ball, which would have gone to Creighton anyway

What a joke Villanova is. Butler loses it off his knee. Hard to believe UConn lost to both of these teams.

Why would you have Brickus your shortest player at 5 9 inbounding the ball?

That looked like a couple inches from hitting the top of the backboard. Ridiculous.

This conference has the worst officials in the country. Providence had two shot clock violations with a 22 second shot clock and a bucket taken off the board. Creighton somehow gets a TO called with no real possession whatsoever. Don’t get me started with fouling up 3 in a shooting motion.

That is a strange rule. So say there's 10 seconds left, possession arrow is in your favor, there's a loose ball and the 2 teams are fighting for it and you call a timeout. You're awarded the ball? That can't be right.

I actually thought the Nova-Creighton game was well officiated, but I still can't understand how Creighton was awarded that timeout. That call makes a huge difference in the outcome of the game. It's not like it was a quick bang bang play- that was easy to see in real time.

That doesn't make sense. If two players from different teams are fighting for the ball, sure that's a jump ball decided by the possession arrow. Green didn't have possession of the ball while he was falling out of bounds, that would not involve a jump ball with a possession arrow.

For those who missed it, here is the play in question. They should not have been awarded a timeout.

I think they made the right call. He had the sense to get the refs attention to call the timeout and I think there was enough there for possession.
