Agreed. If Friday’s game is officiated this way, St. John’s has no chance. An incredibly physical game, and Marquette has 4 fouls with St John's having two team fouls. This is how games should be officiated, let them play.
Currently 338th in country in 3pt%. That is 26 spots from dead last. Don’t know how you fix that.As much as been said about us being the only team in KP's top 35 with a D rating > 100, St. John's in the only team in the top 25 with an O rating >60.
They're gonna have to shoot better to make noise in March.
Refs have generally let them play - well called game so far if you ask me.St. John’s stands with the ball for 8 seconds, doesn’t get a 5 second call, then Jones gets his third
Probably Chase Ross if you have to find a Robin to Kam Jones's Batman.Outside of Kam Jones Marquette has the same problem we have. Who go gets you a bucket?
There are probably many a Marquette fan ready for Joplin to graduate. He’s a mess.Neither team hitting free throws.
Are you at the game?Electric crowd here at MSG. Its crazy what a top coach + NIL money can do.
If the Big East as a whole can find NIL money for its programs I think it should be able to stay afloat
Yeah. I work nearby so been on the johnnies wagon lately. LolAre you at the game?
Marquette is shooting 57 percent - there haven’t been many offensive rebounds to be had.St Johns is thoroughly outplaying Marquette. They are out-working, out-hustling, out-defending, and out-energy'ing them. Winning the offensive boards 10-0. Kam Jones has 2 points on 25% shooting, and 3 fouls at halftime
Anyways, Marquette is up 31-30 because "Zaide Lowery" turned into Steph Curry
I agree....I would like to see more Big East games called this way. Let them play.Refs have generally let them play - well called game so far if you ask me.
Kam Jones has been hit with a case of the yips. He can’t shoot anymore, shooting 24% from 3 in BE play. Every starter for StJ tonight shoots 28% or under from 3.Marquette is shooting 57 percent - there haven’t been many offensive rebounds to be had.
