There’s so many sandwiches it all depends on my mood. There is no correct answer to this question
Yeah, there are so many great choices that there is no reason to settle for anything less than great. There’s so many sandwiches it all depends on my mood. There is no correct answer to this question
It's the Boneyard. I expect everyone to argue everything.I was expecting some really controversial statement like a hotdog recommendation after that first sentence. Is there anyone on earth that wouldn’t consider a grinder a sandwich?
yes, there is a correct answer -micky d's mcdouble. 2 set u back around 4 bucks, and with a free water tossed in, ur aboot as good as a gaffney free throw. widely and easily available, and 100% consistent, whether you grab it in new paltz, new-ark, or new haven. and don't come at me with 'a burger is not a sandwich' cuz two pieces of bread with stuff in between is a sammich. long ago, fortuna's had one called 'the Conquering Hero.' sometimes, we'd skip mickys to get that, when we had all afternoon to eat it, digest it, and try to walk again. There’s so many sandwiches it all depends on my mood. Went their last week for the first time. 5 cutlets piled on top of each other with cheese and sauce on top. Had a half grinder for 7.50. They could have sold it for twice that and i would have understood. We’ve already settled this. It’s Wethersfield Pizzas chicken cutlet.

Well if we're leaving CT, I think the three best sandwiches in the country are all in New Orleans:La Teresita Restaurant in tampa. Off of Columbus.
My abuela lived 3 blocks. Could almost see the bucs stadium and the Yankees summer campus. Some would say the
Columbia Restaurant was the best..
Been to 2 out of 3.... amazingWell if we're leaving CT, I think the three best sandwiches in the country are all in New Orleans:
Cochon de Lait Po-Boy at Jazzfest (from Love at First Bite)
Muffuletta from Central Grocery
Le Pig Mac from Cochon Butcher (which also makes a killer Cubano)

Made my girlfriend a special today as we both remotely taught.
Rustic French bread
Black forest ham
Slightly warm goat cheese so it spreads
Tomato thin sliced
Arugula with seasoned garlic oil.
Pickled red onions
Mustard with slight amount pickled liquid.
Then pressed

Arugula with seasoned garlic oil. -who? It it with pepper
Pickled red onions- only if i can fish them out of the beets jar. Cool

had this earlier today delicious. Neapolitan panini in pizza oven. Chicken cutlet, fresh mozz, lettuce, tomato, bacon with a pesto aioli and the crust was drizzled with evoo and pecorino Romano and herbs

I’ll have to check it out next time in down there.
My favorites in the Tampa Bay Area are West Tampa Sandwich, Stone Soup in Ybor, and Bodega in St. Pete.
Don't forget the Ferdi's Special at Mother's.Well if we're leaving CT, I think the three best sandwiches in the country are all in New Orleans:

That looks like it doesn't suck
I’d heard it shut down. Nice to hear not so. Been out of the area for a while. I make a great meatball sub, but don’t want a bunch of crazed UConn fans at my door.I went to Franklin Giant yesterday for the Combo grinder. It was great. I don't know if it's the best in the state but I hadn't been for awhile and I was happy.
Cook and the Bear’s cheesesteaks were amazing. Miss thoseIn the breakfast sandwich category: bacon, egg and cheese from Country Cow in Fairfield. I don't know what they do, but they're just better.
I'm actually interested in some thoughts on best cheesesteaks in CT.
