lol they never got 4 at a spring game. it was like 14 at wagner. you could have put every single person in the lower bowl and not be close to full

Agreed. People saying 9k May have an agenda or something. I think any rational person would say it was 13-15K actual. On The replay I watched on TV it actually did not look bad. Check out some crowds around the country for these type of games. Other than the real big boys it’s not like crowds are great. I was actually pleasantly surprised overall, but granted the expectation was pretty low.

The crowds were awful across the country.

It’s hard to nail down UConn’s actual attendance because people start leaving while some are still coming.

But you can see in the pictures you couldnt fill the lower bowl and where you can see into the club... did they sell a ticket up there? It’s like 8 people.
 
If we were playing Navy this week we might hit 30,000 but I think we will get 27,000 with the weather being fine and early season interest from casuals plus the 3:30 start which is the most fan friendly time for a Saturday game. I would think 99% of the fans from the Wagner game would be there Saturday which is a good start.

There was around 8-10k at the spring game the year after they went 9-3 in the Dan O. era. By far the biggest crowd ever at a spring game.

always happens on band day. the bands and their parents clear out after the halftime show.

there was 11k or so in the 4th... was decent

I know it's not generally accepted to call out the students, but I was fuming! I'm tired of looking over there and only seeing Dale (blue white kid). It's bull. If all you want to do is get drunk, stay at the dorm and let UConn give those tickets out for free too...
