Attendance Prediction

There was probably 13-14 in the building against Wagner.

Someone always starts one. I see a lot of posts indicating bigger than normal groups, weather seems to be cooperating. Can we get to 25000 actual in seats for this? Is that too low or high. That would be pretty good to me. That said I predict 21496 actual reported at 28789.
I like it. Let's do this people...come on....Lets get into this a do our part....This is a big game against a Big 10 opponent.…COME ON!!!!

If we can’t 20k, then we are in worse shape than I imagined. I’m hoping for 25k.

22700 announced

Last year's rain game was less by 5000 at least. Not sure what you saw, but by the second half it wasn't too bad considering last season's 1-11 record.

Turnstyle was a third of that. Have never seen so few in the stands at the first game.

my crew has grown from 5 to 14 this week - anyone have a line on an extra blue parking pass?

attendance guess - 25k turnstile and a loud lower bowl for at least 2 quarters

I don't have too much faith in the locals showing for this game - maybe a slight hike in attendance from last week, it's gonna depend on how well Illinois fans travel.
Sticking with 24K announced. Hopefully the student section will be full for this one for at least 2 quarters.

Tickets via the school are going for about $16 minimum (that includes processing fee).

Cheapest is 10. 21 with fees....

Hard to believe how additional fees are charged on just about every ticket sold online. No additional fees before the internet.

Announced and turnstyle are two very different numbers. The idea that place was over 50% full is preposterous.

25,000 announced. This will be the peak given start of HS season is still one week away and the likely 1-3 record when we face USF. Then it gets interesting. Bigger question is will we see an announced crowd of less than 15,000 this year, and when. Last year the low was 18,203 vs Temple on Thanksgiving weekend. That was a cold day and a miserable season. If we are 1-9 going into ECU in November, I think the actual attendance will be 4,000 but they will announce 10,000. It's a phony number and they beg people to go for free, but I think they will go below 15k by end of year (Sadly)

They released the turnstyle numbers for last year. They were very low.

With a decent weather forecast, I'd say 30,000.

*picks up paper from one pile of ticket orders*
*moves it to specific pile*
"That'll be $10."

So, if we walked up to the stadium window an hour before, would we pay those fees? Anyone know from first hand experience?

Honestly no clue where people saying 9000 in the building are coming up with that. Maybe they have a neck injury and could only turn their head to see half the stadium. 9000 is a spring game crowd.

Yea it looked bad at kickoff but by end of the first quarter it didn't look any different to most of the early season crowds the last couple years to me.

The last spring game which was the best in a long time was announced as 3,000. I was there. Gorgeous spring afternoon.
