Ashland @ Connecticut - 11/05/17 - Game Thread

I have to say for this broadcast, I am enjoying the things you don't see on the professional broadcasts... the crowd playing the bongos during pauses in play, the dance team, the announcer's comments when he thinks he's not on the air, etc. Makes me smile and feel like I'm there.

To me it's clear that practice this week will emphasize half court offense, with a focus on pace, crisp cuts, crisp passing and smart on court decisions.

I've never understood how the person who shoots a 3 gets beaten back in transition. Talking to you Meg.

Got an old computer compared to the phone?

My comp actually isnt a old one, its just this particular stream plays horrible on it, my iphone plays it way better

Are they contractually prohibited from showing the teams shooting free throws???
They keep showing advertisement for the Fenway series and flex ticket packs during free throws.

Are you talking about the starting 5 plus Z or the entire team.

The starters plus Z looked much better than the first game.

Great game with the starters in. Not so much with the subs. Eventually they'll get it. What concerns me is Molly looking as tentative starting this year as she was at the end of her freshman year. All four freshmen seem much more fearless.

I was glad to see the bench get a quarter and a half of PT. I doubt they'll see the floor at all against Stanford.

In the game feed, the announcer said he talked to Batouly and she said minimum of three weeks :( but is relieved because when it first happened, thought it could be ACL so a big silver lining:) Get well.
