I knew everyone would get all defensive... I'm just looking at facts... After next year, 5 of the last 7 years we will have had 0 BE tourney wins... zero. 5 of the last 7 years we will have had 0 NCAA post season wins... zero. We have been very average in the BE the past 6 years (58-48.) 4 of the last 6 years we failed to even have a winning record in conference. Those numbers are not good let alone elite. Add all that to the overall negative perception our school is getting lately. I have to question if things aren't slipping. 2011 was absolutely wonderful, but you have to admit it was a bit of a surprise that a .500 conference team managed to pull it off. If the wide open 3 by AZ goes down, it was yet another mediocre year. But it didn't and the rest is history. But I do wonder if that 'miracle' run is what's keeping us perceived as elite because lately, the overall record isn't.
