Its all how you play a team game. Im sure he was asked to score more there. Here he would need to be a primary PG with all responsibilities. I think you would take him?

I would take him for his scoring, but you have no way of knowing he has the requisite PG skills. The stats don't back it up and I doubt you've seen very many of his games.

42 points against the University of Idaho Vandals. Now that deserves a bump to the lotto in the latest mock!

How many guys on our team can get 42 against freakin CCSU ever? Ok now take it back...........;)

We have guys who couldn't get 42 against a skeleton defense who will be on the roster next year!

Get the Cornell kid. This team is short on brains.

Here's a video of John Brown. Good god. He reminds me a lot of Stanley Robinson.

Harvey would opt for the draft before going to another school

People dont remember we played Eastern Washington last year and Harvey I think had 20 points. It was in Bridgeport. You never know what will happen. He was hurt all last month and his numbers dipped. If he can go through the tourney and put up big numbers--come out against a GOOD team in the 64 and give a similar performance--I think he'll go to the NBA. He can play 1 guard and hes a high volume 3 pt accurate shot--hes easily a top 40 pick who can play himself into rd 1. Very weak in guard selection this draft. Would love him at Uconn but I doubt it.

On tonight's episode of HarveyWatch (TM), 9 points on 3-8 shooting against the Sacramento State Hornets. Ooh-wee.

8 shots? I mean is it just possible they threw a box and one on the guy with a double team in every part of the zone because they know he's the only guy who can beat them?

Looked briefly at Brown's numbers. I like that he seems to have performed well against the higher level teams High Point played.

The team sucked, but he played well.

Oh, I get it. The AAC will destroy our athletic department if it hasn't done so already.
???

Not my point.

Forgive me if I am over-explaining: reference a while back when nelson--seriously--argued that Sticks wasn't an Big East caliber athlete.

This kid here is an athlete. Thought it was appropriate.

Yes. Tacking on another of his oft-used phrases. My bad for outsmarting myself.

No worries. Just didn't want to be lumped in with a certain group of absolute doom-and-gloomers.

Tyler Harris is graduating from PC with a year left of eligibility. He and Purvis left NC State at the same time, I think.

A quick google search reveals that Bruce Brown is... a 2016 recruit who isn't considering us...?

EDIT: I guess ESPN's page "considering" page isn't up to date.

Not a grad transfer but someone to keep an eye out for is Eric Paschall from Fordham (originally from Westchester, NY). Pecora, their HC, was fired today. Paschall was A10 ROY and can BALL. Averaged 16 and 6. He's 6-6 and long. Can shoot the 3 and play the 2,3,4. Would be a great get if he decides to ask for a transfer release.

A fifth year big man doesn't mess up recruiting for 2016 is the reason I like it. I also think it will be easier to find a 5th year grad big man than point guard but I could be wrong and we might find both.:).
