Perhaps he visited UCONN with his brother, Temple Gibbs, who supposedly has an offer.
Let's get them both. UConn's first "package deal"?

Another thing that jumps out at me is that he averages two assists per game. Our front court is desperately in need of a big man who can pass.

Seems like it will be tough to get him to leave the west coast, though.
Watching SMU, UConn, interior passing was an extreme contrast.

1) Sterling Gibbs isn't coming.

2) I'd be surprised if we made Temple Gibbs short list.

3) This would not be our first package deal. We have a 'package deal' of sorts on the roster now.

Do we? I suppose I was unaware of this. Omar and Samuel?

I'll take this to mean one thing: Diamond Stone/Malik Newman package to UConn confirmed.

is the u in your name pronounced like ugh or goo?!

Jamal Coombs-McDaniel & Oriakhi is one package that comes to mind.
Yep! A package deal that both worked and failed. But the working part outweighed the failure.

My impression of Harris is that he's pretty soft, but he's legitimately talented. He'd start at the four from day 1.

wouldn't he start at Providence? Wouldn't surprise me if he just decides to go pro in a country TBD.

Tyler Harris is a 6'9 PF who shot 42% in Big East play, doesn't rebound, and doesn't defend on the inside well. He really isn't what we need. I'd be surprised if we gave him a call.

UMASS guard with 1 year eligibility left, does he have to sit out? Would KO recruit him?

Eligible immediately. Not a bad player, but he's a 6'3'' shooting guard who was 1-12 from 3 for the entire season (and 0-4 the previous season). He's not a point guard and he's not a shooter, so he doesn't exactly fill a need.

It's funny the trouble these players have shooting the 3, even sometimes unguarded. Our women players could give lessons(I know many of theirs are uncontested).
