ESPN announcer just describing Gonzaga as they lose to Baylor. Seriously?
My favorite tradition since 1999 is uconn winning/final four every 5 years or so, we are past due.Zags will be a number 1 seed, maybe even the highest number one seed. Every bracket expert will pick them to reach the Final Four. Seth Davis will pick them to win the National Championship for the 20th consecutive year
50/50 chance they survive the first weekend, it's tradition (along with another 8 teams from the Big 10)
Gonzaga is....Let's keep this rolling...
Ajax alley oop dunk was Sportcenter Top 10 yesterday. When we get more national coverage and top ten clips. We certainly have a variety of characters to root for, and an animated coach......it's all there.
Really? I’m down with the Hulkster. But your other guy can take a slow, leaky skiff back to Oz.Not in my America![]()

That was because we were the only successful team that had American players. It was fun when UConn soccer was "America's Team" back in the 70s.
You mean the team that has been to the title game twice in the last five tournaments, the elite 8 4 times in the last seven tournaments, and has gone to the Sweet 16 seven straight times?Zags will be a number 1 seed, maybe even the highest number one seed. This highlights the value of a high seed, and Few has an admirable record of getting that job done, including as their OOC has gotten increasingly more challenging. You mean the team that has been to the title game twice in the last five tournaments, the elite 8 4 times in the last seven tournaments, and has gone to the Sweet 16 seven straight times?
They're going to get one soon if Few stays there. Winning a title is hard. but since our last title they haven't missed a Sweet 16, and they've made 3 E8s and 2 title games. Hard to suggest they're flaming out. This highlights the value of a high seed, and Few has an admirable record of getting that job done, including as their OOC has gotten increasingly more challenging.

And that made it less fun somehow? It got us a feature in Sports Illustrated. That was because we were the only successful team that had American players.
