20 minutes?Our next commitment coming
besides obviously being a few years behind, it's funny to see Hamilton juxtaposed with Cobb listed at the same positionI was looking at his recruiting on 247 and saw we were listed as having 6 power forwards on the roster …
THIS IS WHAT THEY HAVE FOR POWER FORWARDS ON OUR ROSTER

Is Matrim still winking?
I hope not. According to my momma his face will freeze like that. Forever.
Freescooter, "AaC iS BeTteR"“There’s a big difference, I believe, in Big East basketball compared to the American,” Karaban said. “Even seeing the exposure they get from the Big East and the teams they play of course, just how hard it is to win in the Big East now with all the teams on the rise, I think it was a huge jump for them, and it was only a positive move.”

So what is that now...100% of our recruits explicitly mentioning that the Big East is a huge selling point and deciding factor?“There’s a big difference, I believe, in Big East basketball compared to the American,” Karaban said. “Even seeing the exposure they get from the Big East and the teams they play of course, just how hard it is to win in the Big East now with all the teams on the rise, I think it was a huge jump for them, and it was only a positive move.”
"It's disappointing that they made the move to the Big East. It would have been hard to turn down the opportunity to play Tulane, ECU, Tulsa, USF, and Temple twice a year."someone should tell Karaban he’s dead wrong on this. Freescooter said so.

I think a big story in all this that’s underrated is Hurley is learning we need skilled guys & a mix of long, amazing athletes.
Need multiple guys be able to hit threes consistently and also be able to put it on the floor. Like maryland did to us. So excited for Hawkins to be onboard this year And hopeful we can shoot better from deep as a group.
I feel like that @ Providence game woke Everyone up that needed it, that we need that mix of skill and athleticism, can’t just have a bunch of Andre Jackson’s - as much fun to watch and as talented as he is! Hurley is learning and open to change - hes killing it so many places, this is a big deal.
IMO, what you’re describing is related more to timeframe (complete recruiting year 2 to year 4, for example) than a change in recruiting philosophy/learning a lesson. His “rebuilds” (I hesitate to use that term for UConn because the situation is a little different) always take a step too long for some people, but they work. Get the (sometimes underrated) athletic “dogs” that will fly around and attack and establish a style, fill in with skill as recruiting gets easier as the program improves.
I think this year is the first time we will truly see "Hurleyball". We finally seem to have all of the pieces that we need. We have shooters, great athletes, and size, AND a full healthy offseason.Pretty hard to complain about the process at this point. I've got some qualms with the offense and in-game adjustments still, but it looks like that was moving in the right direction the second half of the season. And obviously, our team management, defense, and recruiting have been fantastic.

And from looking at the guys coming in next year, it's pretty clear his plan is to have a team that can play fast/slow/big/small at different times to just cause chaos for defenses
