I think his post is a reference to his source.

Maybe you won't have to defend yourself and pat yourself on the back if you said something like "Akok is ours" instead of "Akok is Coach Hurley's power forward".
The reason the actual insiders on here don't have pat themselves on the back is because they make actual predictions from actual knowledge.
Just a thought, Chieftain.

I posted in the Wahab thread wondering if Gaffney and Bouknight will be at First Night as well. Anyone think they will? Would be huge to get those two there

The only thing hard about it is continually posting in that voice. I was going to try to best chief, but I just haven't checked the 'yard enough for my totally super-duper insider knowledge to feel as fresh as it needs to be.

Their fans are certainly a plucky, gritty group, given the circumstances of their environment.

As someone who has had a very successful career forecasting markets around the world, and a father of a 17 yr old, you are spot on. If 50/50 is a fair bet you never take, anything better wont get you fired.
 
If Akok has his sights on being apart of The Basketball Tournament and Boheim’s Army, then we are so screwed! So many busts on one team! They are a plucky bunch however. Like their time in college, they can’t seem to take that tournament down either. Sad

Carey was never considered a lock.

Hamidou had conver$ations with the squid that made him change his mind. Different staff. Different kid. Different type of recruit. And the info isn't coming from a wackadoo on TOS either. Legit sources.

I get that you're a fruit troll and what not but Carey was never considered a lock and Hamidou was a very unique situation that we will never see again

Carey was a lock?? Hami chose the $quid. Different staff. If youre banking on Dan Hurley doing Kevin Ollie like things youre going to be severely disappointed. To get back on topic, here's a more reasonable timeline for a commitment given when his OV's are:

Reached earlier this week, Espinosa said that Akok told one potential suitor that “he’d love to have a decision by the new year. All of his visits will be done by the end of October, so it could happen sooner.

Could we stop picking on Syracuse? Their program is not a joke. It has won 50% of the national championships that Tyler Olander has won, and that is a big time accomplishment!

Not to mention their plucky grittiness and being the one of the best programs in Canada.

( I have to put them behind Bathurst Heights High School in Toronto. I hear they once had a player score 111 points in a single game.)
