Isn’t it odd then that’s he’s only planned Offical Visits to UConn and Georgetown? You would think the school in the lead would at least be mentioned by the kid in an article about what’s next for him? Or do you think they’ll have that conversation soon? They're not.
It's ridiculous to try to parse every word that comes out of these recruiting stories.
Fairly clear that it's Syracuse and then four or five schools trying to get past them.

If the kid doesn’t want to do an interview, why would he do the interview? Are they just too nice to tell a reporter they aren’t interested? Genuinely curious. We'll cut the food a little smaller.
These kids are inundated by these quasi-reporters who really just want to get the kid to mention their school or a list of schools or really anything that can be slapped up on a website.
It's been ten years since I've had to care about this stuff, but you need to see the kids when these guys are interviewing them - nine times out of ten, the kid is staring off into space just hoping to get it over with so he can go about his life. His concern is not that you, the reader, get a faithful accounting of exactly what is going on in his head with regard to his recruiting. He wants to do something other than talk to the oaf holding an iPhone at his head.
Yes.Are they just too nice to tell a reporter they aren’t interested?

Hearing Cuse
There's no way Akok thinks he'll be in school for 4 yearsIn the Paxton article Akok says the head coach is the most important thing in his decision. Who knows if Boeheim has 5 more years in him to live Akok's college career out.

This is a crazy development.
Providence seems like they’ve fallen behind and may move onto Coulibaly.
But what may be even crazier is him mentioning taking OVs to UConn and Georgetown, but not Cuse or PC.
Hate to sound too eager, but that sounds VERY good for UConn. Be happy people.
I believe Boeheim's extension runs through the 2021-2022 season. That would make him about 77!In the Paxton article Akok says the head coach is the most important thing in his decision. Who knows if Boeheim has 5 more years in him to live Akok's college career out.
May have been answered before, but is there any indication on when he wants to decide?Heard its very tight. Some people think Cuse. Providence had been mentioned a lot. Georgetown/Maryland too. I'm hearing we have a slight lead but this is gonna come down to the wire. Huge advantage we have is proximity. We will be in see to him a lot.

Not that this means anything but this is what Kevin McNamara who is plugged in wrote a few days ago after Akok's visit to PC.
PC made Akok, who plays at Putnam (Conn.) Science a priority over a year ago. He’s risen into the top 50 of most rankings as scouts like his ability to step away from the hoop and make plays and also protect the rim on defense. Syracuse, Georgetown and UConn are working Akok hard but he was on PC’s campus last weekend and will return for an official visit next month.

College Hoops: Rams, Friars recruit news; Rhody makes late roster addition
Exactly, I was just pointing out the official visit part, word is they have not released late night madness date and that is when he is expected.
Just one more reason I want Gaffney, the package deal with his dad. Maybe he can become a cheerleader of the caliber of Bazz & Boat's moms.
We have much better luck with moms than with dads.
Not sure there is much that can be drawn from that other than he saw a post that mentioned his son.Our favorite dad is liking what he’s seeing at leastView attachment 34509
Thing is though...his son isn't mentioned in that post. Dad's got a UConn Twitter search column in Tweetdeck. Not sure there is much that can be drawn from that other than he saw a post that mentioned his son.

well aware of that...just having a little funNo ... Dad follows @UConnStats so the tweets show up in his feed. He likes UConn, whether that means we get his son, time will tell.
