ACC Regular Season 2023-24

Not sure of the source of your data. Massey doesn't show your SOS, NET SOS is 16. The other 3 of the 9 stat categories are for ACC games only.
Duke is #4 this season according to Nolan

Maybe but if you look at Duke's Net Nitty Gritty page Duke has a "NET SOS 16" also according to Nolan. I haven't asked him the difference but it could be RPI SOS.
The post wasn't talking about net sos, so I'm curious why it is relevant?

How am I supposed to know the poster, who wasn't you, was referencing an old unused metric? RPI is no longer used by the Committee so why would anyone reference it?
The post said:
"SOS - #3 in country
NET - #20 in country"
It didn't say RPI SOS
So i looked at the only relevant value Net sos. If the specific label isn't used data can get cherry picked.

Hey... Why are you getting in the way of a good story
Sorry to interrupt your story hour. I just couldn't match the numbers up without knowing it's RPI SOS and the values are from ACC games not the NCAA data. There are so many different cuts to data now I was trying to understand.

Latson is incredible and the lack of respect for her game is astounding, leading sophomore scorer per game in the nation. This Duke talk is nauseating, considering they are behind 6 other ACC teams, currently. Go Noles!

Duke is indeed behind 6 teams, including 4 teams we beat by double digits. Including one team that got smacked 88-46 a few weeks ago. Probably could have put 100 points on that no defense playing squad from Tallahassee.

Gentlemen lets not get too crazy. This just demonstrates there are no easy games in the ACC and that Duke fans trash talk more than anyone else. :-)

What she being left out of? No one here is stopping talk about other ACC schools, so feel free to share.

Here is what I can share about FSU.....

When I was 12, my friend's sister went to FSU. We made up a cheer for them "F.L.O.R.I.D.A. S.T.A.T.E., Florida State. Seminoles." to the tune of the Mickey Mouse song.

It was fun.

Happy for you!

Public Service Announcement. All ACC fans are welcome to post/talk/discuss things related to the ACC school they root for. ND fans are welcome, UVA fans, Pitt, Wake, Syracuse ..... Just try to limit the talk to ACC and food. The other conferences have their own threads.

Just imagine if Duke was actually good, I might get banned

ND release its ACC opponents for next season. Interesting:
  • ND will host ACC newbies Cal, Stanford and SMU.
  • ND had been in a home and home pod with Louisville, BC, Syracuse and Pitt. The addition of those teams has blown that up,. They;ve kept one home and home (with Louisville, our "friendly" rival to the south) and will travel to the other three.

.-.
Wow - ND beats Virginia Tech by 13............I could see a win, but didn't expect it by double digits!
ND matches up well with Va. Tech...this is their 3rd win a row. Westbeld, who is very strong, and Kylee Watson, who is 6'4" and pretty rugged, too, take on Kitley and don't let her get to her favorite places. ND alternated guards on Amoore and in the 4th quarter put Citron on her, which helped a lot. Amoore scored 20, but took 24 shots and only had 2 assists.

On offense, Hidalgo and Westbeld were the first half and Citron scored all 21 of her points in the second, often on the end of HH passes like this one:

State held off the Cuse in OT. Fair was fantastic early on, finished 6-13 from 3 and Syracuse rebounded extremely well (52-40 advantage!). A massive 3 from Saniya Rivers with just a tick over a minute remaining tied the game, the Pack took a 2 point lead on a nice dish from Rivers to Baldwin on State’s final possession of regulation and appeared to have won the game after an airball 3 point attempt and the horn sounding in the rebounding action. However somewhere under the roar of the crowd there was a whistle and after a lengthy review they said State fouled with 0.1 seconds left during the rebound!

Syracuse knocked down both FTs (a girl was 64% on the year no less) and it was OT. No one scored the first 2 minutes of OT. It was back and forth on lead changes for the next minute or so before State pulled away with a big bucket from Madison Hayes and ends up winning 75-71.

State now with 7 wins over top 25 teams this year. And a win against Wake this weekend will lock up 2nd place in the conference.

IYHO, do you think Kitley may have stayed too long? Her stats are pretty consistent from last year, although in playing fewer mins, her PPG is up a lil, and her 3P% has improved from 20 to 40%.

Can you point me to his presser? I can't believe he would say that.

That was just a guess based on him whining after the last two double-figure losses in Durham.
