It’s fine to talk about the flaws of the team, but the reality is WILDLY lopsided officiating and free throws are the only reason we have 2 Ls right now.

It’s impossible to get into a flow/rhythm with this kind of disparity.

Please……..just please. We were thoroughly out played, outcoached and out toughed in both games. Whining about the refs is such a losers game.

Hurley can’t even comment on it, or he’ll get fined and further put into the penalty box.

We can argue about hurleys in game adjustments…but this absolutely why we’ve lost.

I don’t get fans who just stick their head in the sand and act like awful reffing doesn’t change games.

UConn's been getting the screw job by the refs the last two games. UConn has also not played well. Both things can be true. A little more of an even whistle and who knows

We have to play the other teams AND the refs since they hate our coach so much. AD Dave could speak up but that may make things worse. It’s us against the world right now.

The way things went down tonight was with us losing everything. Every loose ball. They hit crazy shots that they will never make again. This is a team that takes our leftovers in recruiting and transfers. They aren’t that good. We didn’t play good at all and yet we’re in with 4 minutes left.

We didn’t play well and our shooting was terrible. But if by some chance we have an opportunity to move to a better conference this one sided ref job won’t help the Big East. One thing to teach Hurley a lesson but it’s affecting flow and rhythm of the game. Penalizing the players as well.

They weren’t fantom fouls. They were real fouls and there were zero adjustments in their play when they realized they were being called for them. Where’s the coach on that??

They also don’t drive the basket. Providence and Xavier drove the basket all night long.

I’m sorry, but Sanogo gets the ball at the key, with no one on him, and he doesn’t take it to the house. He leaves his back to the basket and kicks out.

When the 3’s don’t fall, you have to change it up. They just don’t.

There needs to be better penetration to the basket. Sanogo needs to use that body. He’s playing soft and wants to finess every shot.

They need to man up on the offensive side of the ball, because they are getting slapped and doing absolutely nothing about it.

“The refs are never an issue” folks are just as annoying as “the refs are always an issue” folks. UConn was taking it into the paint and drawing contact much more than against Xavier and did not get calls. There were some really egregious ones as well. Dave should be addressing this with the league office and I suspect he will be.

Plenty of diving and effort on 50/50 balls, just didn't get 'em all tonight.

Refs were an issue, but shooters have to make shots. Missed 2-3 bunnies and putbacks, but if 3pt shooters just hit the season average, that's 12 more points. Not to mention the FT line. Game still could've been won with average shooting production. Sorry, but Joey C adds no value if he's not scoring.
