50/40/90 shooting this year

Update after Marquette:

Sarah: .591/.396/.905.

Azzi: .495/.463/.949

Azzi doesn't have quite enough attempts, but she would be 2nd in the nation in FT shooting. She jumped from 10th to 7th in 3-point shooting percentage. She's now ahead of Kneepkens, but behind Wright, Ciezki, and Tessa Johnson. She jumped into a temporary tie for 2nd in 3-pointers made.

Azzi doesn't have quite enough attempts
Actually nowhere close. Assuming she plays 40 games, she would have to make 100 free throws. She'd have to average almost 5 makes per game the rest of the way, when she's averaging less than one and a half.

After a tough Villanova game:

Sarah: .595/.400/.892 Needs 5-5 on FTs

Azzi: .497/.470/.950 Needs 2-2 on FGs. 4th in the nation from deep, 2nd in treys made.

Allie: .550/.476/.762

Blanca: .572/.404/.750

Team: .529/.404/.749 1st, 1st, middle of the pack

.-.
Well, today's shooting wasn't great. The emotions of Senior Day always seem to be a factor. Both Azzi and the team dropped a little. Current stats:

Sarah: .600/.406/.892 Needs 5-5 on FTs

Azzi: .490/.454/.950 Dropped to about 13th in 3-point %, about 2nd in 3-pointers.

Allie: .536/.460/.762

Blanca: .563/.380/.727

Team: .526/.397/.750 1st, 1st, 50+

Not UCONN related but was looking at UCLA stats, their guard trio has incredible splits considering they're all big scorers too:

Kiki Rice: 50.7/40.8/88.9 and 15.3 ppg
Gabriela Jaquez: 54.7/40.6/.859 and 14.1 ppg
Gianna Kneepkens: 53.3/45.9/93.8 and 13.2 ppg

Kiki has become a much better shooter. From the arc over 4 years: 22/31/37/41. The team is top-10 in 3-point percentage.

In addition to Kneepkens, we have Prince and Ciezki:

Prince 55/46/92

Ciezki 54/46/90

They will be our toughest match up if we meet in the NCAAT. Their problem in a game vs UCONN is that they only go 6 deep - their starters plus "Litl Betts so they might wilt late in a game when Geno can run a group of nine. A last factor in a game against them is, Close, as she showed the world last year, gives the Huskies a 10 point "home court like" advantage when matched up against Geno and his staff.

Milford, who is the "we" you refer to? I don't see them them on the UCLA roster on their website.

They'll go 7 deep as Dugalic comes off the bench too. She's much improved from a year ago as 6-4 stretch 4. Their well built with 2 solid options at PG (Leger-Walker and Rice), a couple of elite wings in Jaque/Kneepkens and a trio of front court players with the Betts sisters and Dugalic.

Geno also shortens his bench in big games. I don't think we'd see more than 7 players play 10+ minutes in a Final Four or Championship meeting.
