2023 New school commitments by Transfers

Man! Mark Campbell is hustling and looking to put TCU on the map!

I’ve heard Oregons struggles of recent can be directly related to him moving on as a head coach.

That's been my gut feeling. Never read anything that confirmed it though.

This is a fantastic addition for Cal WBB. I've always like Marta's game, and felt her talent wasn't maximized at Tennessee
Her talent is limited only by her . She needs to get in shape and learn the college game is played on both ends not just offensively. Suarez has talent on the offensive end but lacks the motor to get better. She got injured a few years ago at UT and returned heavier than previous . The lack of discipline on the offensive end along with the emergence of Rickea & Darby had the writings on the wall for Marta clearly .

There had been chatter on this or the Transfer Portal Announcement thread that Lester was out for medical reasons and questioned if she had been cleared. Would think this is a positive step in that direction.
Yes, that was me. I would love to see a healthy Lester. I hope whatever has kept her off the court has resolved and she has a promising future ahead.

Didn't know that about Suarez. If she desires, she can be a star @ Cal.

Usc ivy league of the west coast

Coach Gottlieb, if memory holds, went to Brown, so that's four different Ivies represented on that Trojan roster.
I saw Davis play twice this season and she's a very cool customer on the court with a great elbow jumper and rebounding ability.
Good pick-up .

I agree. I really like the pickup. After losing out on Morrow, they got one of the better forwards available. Also aside from the ivy transfers they still got the number one player in the class coming in, and some solid returners. Obviously UCLA is strong and Stanford still has a lot of talent, but they definitely can make some noise next season.

I drew up this list for the "Transfer Portal Announcement" thread, but given how folks are choosing schools at a very rapid rate recently, it makes just as much sense to have it here at this juncture. Diamond Johnson and Ashley Owusu are the major names still in the Green Room.

Okay - does this qualify as a transfer when she was a grad assistant last season?

A Williams is a very interesting prospect. She is a physical presence, very skilled and has great size. However there are so many questions unanswered regarding her dismissal.

Pretty much the take around town. Graves's luster has really worn off. At some point he will be forced out at Oregon.

Nope. They just had to enter the portal by the 11.
Agreed.
Think the player needs be enrolled by summer sessions (and/or around June 15th) to be eligible as a transfer.

A player can still enter the portal after May 11th, but would have to apply for a waiver.
