Utah OL Tapuvae Amaama talks favorite schools from Polynesian Bowl

Lehi (Utah) Skyridge offensive lineman Tapuvae Amaama has one more official visit set and has a good idea when he’ll make his college choice.

On the recruiting front, Amaama is starting to focus in on about four or five schools and is set to make his decision around Signing Day.

“BYU and Virginia are the two schools recruiting me the hardest right now,” Amaama said. “Connecticut is up there too and I’ve been talking to their OL coach although I haven’t had a chance to talk with Jim Mora yet.”

The article noted he's scheduled to visit BYU on the 28th so it seems unlikely he will have a chance to squeeze in a visit to UConn, but still nice to see the good guy's name pop up in more of these articles.

I could be mistaken, but it seemed to launch in concert with the Mora hiring. I’m wondering if that’s purely coincidental.
