On the recruiting front, Amaama is starting to focus in on about four or five schools and is set to make his decision around Signing Day.

“BYU and Virginia are the two schools recruiting me the hardest right now,” Amaama said. “Connecticut is up there too and I’ve been talking to their OL coach although I haven’t had a chance to talk with Jim Mora yet.”


The article noted he's scheduled to visit BYU on the 28th so it seems unlikely he will have a chance to squeeze in a visit to UConn, but still nice to see the good guy's name pop up in more of these articles.

Ktuck put Holmes out here not because he had a known UConn offer, but because there was some decent twitter interconnect with this Penn State transfer OL.

For what it is worth our current recruit average rating is the highest in program history. Although I suppose that will go down when they get around to rating everyone.
