If ya can’t keep politics out of your commentary - don’t bother:
-> Governor Ned Lamont will be on hand Friday evening in Storrs during the UConn Football Blue/White Showcase at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium at Rizza Performance Center. Gates to Morrone Stadium open at 5:30 p.m. and the practice will begin at 7 p.m. Lamont will show his support for the Huskies as an honorary coach and, while NCAA rules prohibit Lamont from engaging in any coaching activities, he will be able to interact with student-athletes, and coaches, on the sidelines.
"I am excited to welcome Coach Mora to UConn, and I look forward to joining the team and the entire UConn community in Storrs on Friday night to gear up for what is going to be an incredible football season," Governor Lamont said.<-
-> "I'd like to thank Governor Lamont for his continued support of UConn athletics and of the University at-large," director of athletics David Benedict said. "His presence at the Blue/White Showcase will mean a lot to our student-athletes, coaches and staff, and I'm looking forward to expressing my gratitude in person on Friday." <-

Looks like a nice D3 field
She was a solid 9.Is it ok in 22 to type that someone is covering Stacy or her mom?
That doesn't sound good. That was an hour of my life that I'll never get back
Thank God I was able to go back to watching Uconn baseball on the other side of the field. That was an hour of my life that I'll never get back
More context?Thank God I was able to go back to watching Uconn baseball on the other side of the field.
It was non contact 11-11 except the o-line/d-line . What I was told was they didn’t have enough players/depth to actually go full blown live tackle. Other than that though, I thought that it was meaningful especially for the quarterbacks to see how well they did. Seeing from a fan perspective I think that Steven K gets the qb1 going into fall camp because he seemed a lot better and poised with the 2nd team and had better control of the offense whereas TaQuan struggled and held onto the ball and played very conservative.More context?
It sounds like it was non contact...more like drills than a game. And,..Mora said they were nervous...so maybe sloppy in the beginning.
I was hoping for more of w traditional game...at the rent. Maybe next year.
Avery Point doesn't even have on-campus housing anymore. My youngest graduated from UConn a few years ago. Never had classes on Friday. Avery Point lots are sparse on Friday's.
