Elena Delle Donne committed to UConn in 2008 but de-committed before ever playing a game to attend Delaware in order to be close to home and her special-needs sister with whom she is exceptionally close.

I've been watching her play for years as she trained in the summers with my daughter.......great person and a dedicated worker...........Tennessee really didn't handle her correctly.......she can flat out shoot but simply never got the consistent playing time she needed........would love to see her back in Jersey at Rutgers or Seton Hall........

Sounds like what Angel Reese said in a tweet after the loss to Texas in March 2022. She entered the portal two weeks later.

Her twin sister goes to the Naval Academy in Annapolis. I wonder if Brenda will have any interest in bringing her to College Park.

I have no problem with these players transferring as many times as they want. It’s their choice. The social media posts about the sisterhood, running it back, etc., should not be taken seriously.

The loss to Texas was March 2021 in San Antonio.
