2020 Recruiting Thread

Ktuck also had the Zack Early find on twitter. You guys are super sleuths!
I could write all day about my Twitter findings- but trust me - no one wants to read that drivel.

We seem to be trying for Pyrst, how we his follows indicate that he is Vanderbilt bound.

The
Five slots remaining....could be:
1) Cobbs or TBD grad at RB
2) Tre Wortham or TBD grad at CB
3) Durante Jones or TBD HS at CB
4) Owen Snively looks like the top target at OL, but might go grad OL judging by all the recent twitter follows by the staff. The competition for Snively will be tough.
5) Wildcard slot, looks like they are targeting either a HS LB or a grad LB. They have been following some recent grad LBs...probably the latter.

* Of the 5 I think Uconn is best off with Wortham and Jones.
* I hear that Snively is Rutgers lean right now.
* Cobb would be who I am working on the hardest but I think in the end he will stay down south or head to San Diego St. With his academic background, we would be a better fit.

I wonder what happened to Ta'Chawn Brooks? With all the community college and juco programs offering I wondering if he won't qualify.

>>Denton Guyer Sr. Kaedric Cobbs
Height
: 5-10
Weight: 209

About Cobbs: Denton Guyer head coach John Walsh said earlier this season that he’s seen a lot of great running backs during his 15-year tenure at the school. Cobbs, he said, is up there with the best. The senior was a powerful force this season. He ran away with the area rushing title by a large margin, finishing the year with 2,641 yards and 42 touchdowns on 304 carries.

What’s next? Cobbs has seen his recruiting open up since leading Guyer to the state title game. Connecticut and San Diego State recently offered. He also has FCS and Ivy League offers.<<

Pulled stats for Tyler Berrong:

Senior year; lead team with 83 tackles, 24 for a loss with 9.5 sacks. 2 forced fumbles, 1 recovery, no interceptions.

What's the deal with A'Meer & A'Maar Allen out of PA? Are they more so FCS level talent? Or just no interest in UConn?

They both have G5 offers... my bet is they are waiting for all the P5 dominoes to fall before grabbing the G5 ring.

Former commit might be leaning on staying closer to home though I hear Central Michigan in the mix
