Yep. Wednesday will be damn interesting.

This year is such an unabated cluster:...

I don’t envy you having to report on all this disappointing news. It’s like doing Chief’s Briefs last basketball season. Maybe we will be pleasantly surprised but from 40,000 feet Chief doesn’t know how one could even start to make a plausible case for that.
Maybe Crocker can start to built a recruiting pipeline in Killingly?

I’m hoping Woodstock Academy makes a prep football team that way we can pipeline there.

Maybe you could help by further ramping up your negative campaign on this board. That always works well for recruiting.

It's also kind of predictable. 2 years where the results have gone from bad to all time worst. Our momentum is terrible at the moment.

Sucks but it is what it is.

He’s doing his part he’s on his way to find a new dc just like how he scouted Hurley last yr and told AD Dave to hire him.

I really dont want to get caught up in the Chief he said/she said stuff, but for a guy that is a big supporter of all things UConn, he should relax the public bashing. Its clear Randy is getting at least another year, probably two.

Saw this on the twitter machine

#99. Eric Watts of Sumter committed to UConn. #Touchstoneenergybowl

Interesting... no mention on his Twitter feed (yet) or anywhere else I could find.

6’7” 215 Linbacker in hs. Looks like a DE project.

Here is his info and highlights l from when he picked up his offer back beginning of December.

Eric Watts is a 6-6 220lb OLB/DE from Sumter High School in Sumter South Carolina. Other offers from North Greenville University, South Carolina State University and Tennessee Tech.

Highlights:

True, but what I said was “Richardson hasn’t really moved up a notch in FL”. Status quo or less hasn’t worked real well for us. Hopefully, he can reel in some playmakers at the time table you indicate.

Methinks

You missed the highly productive 2003-2009 Florida period. I would give you the long list ... but you can actually do research on that yourself. So status quo would be darn good. We shall see.

Jeff Woods - 6'6'' 263lb DE/OT/TE from Fayetteville NC. Recently he de-committed from ECU after the coaching change. TOS reports he is visiting Storrs this weekend.

Methinks you're failing to realize that productive period was Literally Ten Years Ago

Jack Zergiotis 6'2'' (198lb) QB from Montreal area receives an offer during his visit this weekend. Edsall and others had been following Jack for a long while, maybe as far back as mid summer.

Craft beer where your mouth is

Terry Richardson - imho - is still strong in South Florida relationships. I think he will, once again, bring 2-4 kids the last two weeks of January. And they will be solid. 10 years ago or today. He’s got it

The question mark on this staff is Wholley, Smith, Cox and the 2 Line Guys. Edsall 1.0 had a trio of great regional recruiters. I don’t see that.

That's a lot of question marks.
