2019 Recruiting Thread

Iceman Koontz just in with an offer from Texas Tech. <--That's a crap program, barely throw the ball and haven't used TEs in two decades! :p
 
If Mike Locksley is in at Maryland I wonder if that has repercussions for Summers’ commitment. We should show up to his state championship game Saturday for support.

Is it me or have we gone radio silent in our recruiting? Few offers being discussed or posted while we know they are out there scouting for talent. Usually by now u have a good sense of who’s in for December. Other than maybe 1/2 dozen “commits” there’s been little from the staff to have a sense of what next 2 months could bring.

Every year we miss on recruiting, adds another year to “the 5 year plan”. Hopefully, we can start to turn things around now, although there is no current public evidence that’s the case.

It’s the same old thing. Edsall is operating without giving the recruiting services any info. And the services aren’t covering us anyway.

There is plenty of activity happening outside of any coverage. This will be a 20 person class by Feb and I think there is good chance it’s a better class than last year. Faster.

I think our recruiting targets have been clear except for QB and perhaps finding that extra ILB. All other positions have been rather public in the search, effort and offers.

QB is the one they are keeping the lid on...tight.
