2019 Recruiting Thread

Less than before Oregon/VaTech etal got involved...
Makes sense.
Maybe the potential to play right away can entice him? When you go the JUCO route you can’t afford to sit or get meager minutes your first year out the shoot. I’m sure those teams have a need but I fathom he’d have to compete hard for a spot against incumbents who already know the system.
The playing time here is relatively guaranteed. I’m sure that’s what our coaches are selling.

On 247 he’a already indicated that OREGON and VT are in the lead and it’s hard to imagine copter flying Mike Gundy isn’t in the same tip standing.

UPDATE: now he has a OU offer too!

Since his UConn offer he’s picked up Minnesota and TCU.

Honestly if any of the JUCO kids are smart, that are just getting these offers from P5 programs, they really should take us seriously... They can get to the League playing for us... They'll get way more burn with us and be able to showcase their talents that much more... They'd be focal points here... Don't be afraid to LEAD... You'd automatically do that up in Storrs....

We just have so much negative momentum. When you achieve worst ever status there is a lot to overcome. It's easy for a coach to say it's the players. Its easier for people on the outside to say that can't be all " the players".

Why would Kevens Clerius #42 say may not hold offer after his name?

Because it is rumored that there was an admissions/transcript issue coming in from Canada. It’ll be a wait and see come NLI Signing Day(s).

This is the player I want at running back. He runs hard, has good speed and a good cut back runner. He reminds me of a young Marshawn Lynch in his attacking others trying to tackle him.

I think UConn leads, but I hope none of the ACC schools offer

I'm concerned we are not attracting many commitments. Last year we had near 20 at this point. I'm concerned the Pee 5 will grab a couple of our early commits and we will have to scramble for FCS players

My sources tell me our whole coaching staff is in North Dakota trying to find out how "The Bison" get such good players.

Their answer is to recruit North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
