Van Lith accomplished the truly rare and nearly mythical quadruple-double in Cashmere’s 89-34 Caribou Trail League-clinching win over Chelan.

“She comes out every game like someone stole her lunch money,” Darnell said. “She gets madder and madder and madder and plays ticked off until she gets that money back. My nickname for her is Rambo. For those who don’t know Rambo, he’s a really nice guy but if you tick him off, he’ll kill you.”

“If you haven’t seen her play, now is the time,” Darnell said. “You simply sit and watch greatness. I would pay to see her play.”

On Thursday she had 37 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 14 steals.

WTF? Yeah, but 14 steals? Those number aren't real. Too bad LeBron and Curry are in charge of skins and shirts this year.

If I remember correctly Geno watched her play several times right? I think she's on the UConn short list..................

Would be a bit of an undertaking. Fly into SeaTac, then about a 2 1/2 hours drive to Cashmere. Even further for some of their road games. For kicks and giggles look up Omak and Okanogan. Those towns are seriously out there! I would be interested to watch her play, but they had no games over on this side of the mountains and I don't feel like making that drive in the middle of winter. 1A State Tournament is in Yakima, so that's not really any easier to get to for viewing either.

They would most likely fly into SeaTac, then take a commuter plane to Pangborn Mem airport and drive the 25 miles to Cashmere.

In her dads words she came of age watching UCONN win championships. She wants to be be a 1st round WNBA pick. Only surprise is that she has not committed to UCONN already-but she will.

I am by all means biased but I'm always amazed that these super talented and driven players don't just commit to UConn and get it out of the way............after all Geno & Co can only fit a few of the very best players per year...........

Where is the fun in that? If you commit early you miss out on all the suspense, the ESPN coverage and some potential great experiences. UCLA taking Chistyn Williams biking along the pacific coast for example- just priceless.

Gordon, a Hurst L.D. Bell sophomore guard, is the sister of five-star recruit Lexi Gordon, now a UConn freshman. Myra feels pressure following a sibling who was L.D. Bell's all-time leading scorer, but she credits her sister with helping her navigate the intricate recruiting process.

Myra, a three-star recruit whose parents played at TCU in the 1990s, averages 22 points. She has offers from Mississippi State -- which ended UConn's 111-game winning streak en route to a national runner-up finish last season -- as well as from nationally ranked Oklahoma State, TCU and Arizona State.

Myra enjoyed being teammates with her sister for a year at L.D. Bell, but isn't looking to reunite at UConn.

"Right now I think I want to make my own name," she said.

The game Azzi Fudd missed Friday (1/26) was due to participating in a flag football national championship. Yes, she's great at that too.

She returned today, scored 36 points, hit 10 threes.

Upon hearing star freshman Azzi Fudd’s latest stat line, St. John’s Coach Jonathan Scribner could only shake his head.


“She had 36?” Scribner inquired after Sunday’s 60-40 win over No. 10 Georgetown Visitation. “That’s crazy. She’s crazy.”


Scribner, along with the rest of those in attendance at Georgetown Prep, was treated to a 36-point performance by the 15-year-old, who knocked down 10 three-pointers.


It was Fudd’s third straight game with at least 36 points. Fudd didn’t play in the Cadets’ 61-29 win over Carroll on Friday, but she scored 41 points in each of the Cadets’ previous wins over Good Counsel and Elizabeth Seton.


No. 5 Georgetown Prep escapes with 59-58 win over No. 7 St. John’s

I'm beginning to think the same thing about her as Paige B.............setting aside education and social life...........what exactly is the point of this kid playing three more years of high school basketball?

Sounds like a crime was committed. Can you imagine being one of her opponents, having to go up against that? It's hardly fair having a talent of her caliber playing at such a small school level.
